Last year’s Namibian trip for the family netted a sweet gift for one Namibian school. The gift of $15K was most appreciated:
On Friday, staff members of the modest, privately run DRC School officially thanked the celebrity couple in their absence, while the young pupils eagerly unpacked the crates of books that were bought with the money.
“Their donation … helps to ensure that over 30 children will be able to receive an education through this project in the upcoming year,” said Ivanna Iafigliola-Kriner, who founded the project along with her husband, Mike.
Once again I am reminded of why I like them together. She brings out the giving side of Brad that was probably always there, but we never got to see…

I live in the UK and there was a name-check for Angie today. Radio 2’s ‘Thought for the day’ which is a religeous-themed feature, was saying that although the cult of celebrity is worrying and could lead to valuing superficial qualities, Angelina had done well in highlighting the plight of Sikh’s who have been forced out of Afganistan. The author of ‘thought for the day’ is a specialist in conflict resolution, but had not heard of this situation before AJ’s visit recently. He felt it was a shame that that is what it takes, but said he felt she did well using her fame in that way…

Angie has gotten her s*** together to parapharase an aging pop-star, and she didn’t have to wait till she was close to 50.
Brad has helped in grounding her, imo, although I’m just now coming to appreciate him. But Angie – love her
