Lisalt, I’m with you there. It’s a clever move by those who handle Megan Fox – definitely gets MF more publicity and probably more work. MF deliberately changed her eyebrows and other things to look more like Angelina.

But I’m not worried, Angelina is the real thing and the total package. Megan is just a pale copy. Angelina is so much more than her looks, and that’s saying something.

I went to Southcoast Plaza in Costa Mesa this morning and saw the St. John shop there near Nordstroms. There were three teen-age girls passing by looking through the entrance just watching Angie’s picture inside. This was the photo with Angie at a rose garden looking up. They said she is so beautiful. I just saw the clothes from the outside without the price tags. I know, I can’t afford it but they are really well made.

Most women, except staid over-40 socialites, had never heard of St. John’s until Angelina Jolie became their face & body. Women will buy St. John’s to look and be like Angie; men will buy St. John’s for their wives/mistresses/sisters/mothers hoping they’ll start looking like Angie.

It’s not just the ads in the fashion magazines, it’s the publicity Angie gives them just for being Angie. Angelina Jolie is probablly one of the most talked about, photographed women in the world — mother, mate, UN Goodwill ambassador, humanitarian, philanthropist, actor/stuntwoman/filmmaker, speaker/author, among other things. And she crosses a lot of demographics in age, occupation, and interests. With just the black leather jacket, Angelina updates a traditionally classic look and gives it a slightly dangerous edge. Even the timeless pearl necklace has a different meaning.

So far this ad is the best. It’s true that St Johns had increased their profits when Ange started their ad. Look how classy she carry herself & how the line of clothes she is wearing looks so stunning. She is really a good choice for their ad campaign.
