CJ Miller escapes elimination and the group is secretly tested on compassion and sportsmanship on the third episode of True Beauty tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
In the video above, it appears several contestants don’t like Chelsea. What do you think about her?
In this episode, the contestants will prepare for a photo session while performing one of four sports activities: volleyball, tennis, basketball and karate. The four shots will be put together to make a team poster, and the best overall poster wins. The losing team will send its captain and one other member to the Hall of Beauty to face elimination.
Before the photo shoot, the contestants will travel to a local gym to practice and rehearse. They will meet with a group of coaches who will work with them on all four sports. They’ll also consult with a wardrobe stylist who will help them dress for the shoot.
What they don’t know is that the stylist is a planted actor and the wardrobe area is rigged with a set of secret cameras that will be recording the contestants as they are tested on their compassion and sportsmanship.
In this scenario, the wardrobe woman is in the middle of being dumped by her cheating boyfriend, and spends a lot of time answering angry phone calls from him and crying. The judges watch the contestants to see who will show compassion for the crying woman and who will be too self-absorbed to notice.
Current female contestants are: Monique Santiago, a 21-year-old dancer from Manhattan, NY; Julia Anderson, a 23-year-old magician’s assistant from Dallas, Texas; Laura Leigh, a 21-year-old model from Staten Island, New York; and Chelsea Bush, a 21-year old model/artist from Brentwood, Tennessee.
The men are: CJ Miller, a 26-year-old barista from Los Angeles, California; Billy Jeffrey, a 31-year-old vitamin store owner from Lewiston, Idaho; Joel Rush, a 26-year-old imaging software salesman from Tampa, Florida; and Ray Seitz, a 29-year-old artist from San Diego, California.
At the end of the season, one winner will be declared, a person who is truly beautiful inside and out, and who will receive a cash prize and a spot in PEOPLE’s 100 Most Beautiful People issue.
True Beauty is hosted and judged by Vanessa Minnillo, along with judges Cheryl Tiegs and Nolé Marin.
