A reader sent in a tip letting us know about her very own Gilmore Girls related blog project! Like Rory’s Required Reading, where a brave soul is attempting to read every book mentioned on GG ever, this super fan will be watching and reviewing every film uttered on the show. She’s calling it “Ultimate Gilmore Girls Movie Night” So far, she’s watched The Shining and Schindler’s List.
Courtney, the blogger behind Ultimate GG Movie Night, has listed season 1 and season 2 movies to start off; with over 50 on each list, she’s got quite an assignment ahead of her! If you could make a specialized Gilmore Girls blog, what would you do? I think it’d be fun to do a GG food and cooking blog, or a blog focused on the music of Gilmore Girls.

Well, since I already spent so much money on the music and books mentioned in the show, I would do a GG Music blog. If I didn’t already run three blogs, I would totally do it too. LOL! Music is such a passion of mine, and I obsessed over buying any music I heard on GG when it was running.

A blog focused on Rory reading is already a huge task. But at least, apart Rory in the show, there are not so much readers, so it can be achieved. But a blog on music may probably covers thousand of titles. Consider only Lane’s collection. There are also references about the music taste of all other characters. The courageous blogger that would try to do so would soon be facing the gigantic task of creating an encyclopaedia.
Yet, contemplating such an idea makes me dream. There are so many music, beautiful creations, songs created in so many important occasions, music that almost always come out from dreams, but also always give that touch of reality in a fiction.
