New J.O.N.A.S. Casting Info and Story Line

jonas-brothers-vanity-fair-shoot.jpg

More information about auditions and the new story line has come out for the Disney Channel series J.O.N.A.S., starring the Jonas Brothers and Chelsea Staub.

The show was originally about the Jonas Brothers as spies, but has taken a different route:

Kevin, Nick, and Joe are three brothers who hit the big time as hugely popular teen idols. How do teen idols live an ordinary life? They don’t! But as they try to be normal boys doing “normal” things, life keeps getting less and less “normal”. Living in the fish bowl can’t get any funnier!

What do you think about this new story line? For roles that are available and pictures from the pilot episode, look below.

MANAGER: Male, 40’s. The manager of the Jonas Brothers. Caucasian.

BRIANNA: Female, 15-17. Snobby cheerleader, the “mean girl” on campus. Ethnicity open.

JASON: Male, 16-17. The high school jock. Caucasian.

MORGAN: Female 14-17. Awkward, brain type. The smartest girl in school. Ethnicity open.

Send photo and resume to this address.

Actually, although the idea of them as spies seemed a little corny to me at first I’m kinda disappointed they’re not sticking with it. It could have been fun. But I think my real disappointment comes from how Hannah Montana-ish it sounds. Sure it doesn’t sound like they’ll be hiding behind a secret identity like she does but it’s still about teen(s) trying to balance celebrity and everyday life. Oh well. What Disney wants, Disney gets. I love these boys so I’m sure I’ll be entertained either way. But without cable I’ll have a hard time watching. ;)

Uhm i think it sounds like a complete copy of Hannah Montana. No double life– but theyre famous and trying to live a normal life. I wish they woud’ve stuck with the spie theme, eventhough i was skeptical about that too..

Wow the show looks great! Hey Julie, do u know if there will be anymore guy parts? I feel like they are looking 4 some buff dude to play the jock and I dont think I fit that role. Please reply.

i really want to try out, but im only 13 and you need to be at least 14 to get those parts, do you think they would let try out if i was a little too young, i turn 14 in december, that’s close enough right?

  12. Samantha Samuel
