As untalented as she is, one would think that she must have known someone high in the Hollywood ranks to even get a job there in the first place. It’s evidence that there is no real talent in Hollywood anymore. I suppose that is why I’ve started watching the classics on TCM, etc. Today, producers mix up “Movie Helper”…kind of like Hamburger Helper. Too much focus on the technology (i.e. bells and whistles) and not enough on the underlying story. IMO, one of the best movies ever was Bridges of Madison County. Simple set, small cast, and a superb movie.
Oh well, didn’t mean to get off the subject at hand…..
Totally agree Leo!! It hard to find a good movie to go see and most aren’t even watching on DVD.
I think she got the job because of TC. The BATMAN sequel would have been a better come back movie.
I wonder how all this talk from Morton’s book will hurt the movie. I feel sorry for the Queen and Keaton to be caught up in this crap with the Cruises.
Books do have influence on how movies do. Rowling lost a lot on the Harry Potter movie over the some because people were busy reading the new book. After Morton’s book, I doubt anyone will want to watch a show with either of these idiots in it.

Boy, I am getting really bad with missing words. OH well!! It was HP movie from this past Summer.
It’s absoutely astounding how dramatically her face has changed. I wonder if she scares herself when she looks in the mirror.
She has changed a lot. I wonder if some of it is the hair cut. I still don’t like it: It looks Sally Field’s haircut from the 1990’s. Sally Field was also in her late 30’s or 40’s then.
Plastic surgery has been used too.

Oh, my Gawd, TOO FUNNY! One of you recently PREDICTED that TommyBoy would “stage” a “rescue” with all of this HORRIBLE publicity lately, and guess what?! HE DID!! He apparently rescued a woman in Colorado after her car ran off the road. Oh, this is just too good. I bet the woman was a fellow Scientologist and they staged the whole thing. God, he is CREEEEEPY. And for the record, any one of us would stop and help a woman who was stranded alongside the road. I’ve done it before, and I’m a woman, and I’m sure you all have done it at least once in your life. It’s not like her performed mouth-to-mouth on the woman and brought her back from the dead. Well, I bet that will happen in his next rescue attempt. Probably this week! Too funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The writer for EW is not very professional….probably a scientologist as well. It is scary if you think about how many of these “creatures” that would come into contact with and don’t know it.
Congratulations to the person who predicted the rescue. Tom is getting more and more desperate by the day. Actually, I’ve never believed any of the rescue stories about Tom because he was always the one who told of the rescue. I’ve never seen an interview with anyone he “rescued”…not that I would believe it if I saw it because I just don’t trust anything about him anymore.

I read somewhere that they drink some kind of oil to cleanse the toxins out. Is this true??? And if yes, that might be what Suri was drinking (from a can) when she visited Tom Cruise on the set of Valikre (or whatever the name is). There is a photo where they are sitting in a tent and Suri is on Tom Cruise’s lap and he is holding a container that is shaped like one of the those fraks that contain liquor only this is something he is holding up to Suri’s lips. In that picture, it is the first time I see Suri drinking from something that is not a bottle.
I have concluded the reason Katie wears really
high heels especially around Suri is because this way she looks taller and Suri looks shorter and possibly younger.
Anyway, tonight in West Los Angeles is the premiere of Mad Money. I’m not sure if Katie Holmes will be on Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show. I know she won’t be on David Letterman because Lucy Liu will be appearing on his show tonight.
Because off the writer’s strike Jay Leno is not revealing the names of his guests on his website. Usually stars with premiere’s in Los Angeles appear on Jay Leno’s show. I think one of the stars of Mad Money will be on tonight.
On Thursday, Jan 11, Katie is scheuled to appear at a luncheon for a women’s charity.

MIT student Carlos Covarrubias had signed a contract to serve the Church of Scientology for the next billion years – in effect, pledging his eternal soul.
Now two Scientologists were helping him stuff underwear and socks into a suitcase at his Back Bay fraternity house while others sat outside on Beacon Street in a car with its engine running.
They were preparing to take the 19-year-old to Logan Airport, and from there to the church’s Los Angeles headquarters.
“His parents were coming up from Florida to save him, so the Scientologists were rushing to get him out of here,” said Marcus Ottaviano, president of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity, recalling the May 1995 events.
Covarrubias’s interest in the church was first piqued by “Dianetics,” the Scientology book advertised on late-night TV and at national events like the Boston Marathon.
It wasn’t long before Covarrubias began skipping his MIT classes to spend the day studying at the church, Scientology’s four-story stone building on Beacon Street, a block from the Charles River and next door to his fraternity.
The church recruiters befriended him, promising that one day he would become “clear” – with a perfect memory and a higher IQ. Covarrubias paid for the Purification Rundown, a $ 1,200 detoxification program that required him to drink vegetable oil, take vitamin megadoses, and sweat in a sauna for several hours a day.
Maybe that is what Katie Holmes is doing and why she is losing so much weight. The other day I was sorting some magazines I have and I ran across some really pretty pictures of Katie and Suri, but it really hit me the seriousness of the situation Katie Holmes is in and I thought of my nieces and nephews and how terrible I would feel if they were Scientologists.
Clearly Tom Cruise is trying to sugarcoat it for Katie, but poor little Suri, she is going to be programmed from birth to her adulthood. There is a chance that Katie could secretly keep her Catholic faith in her heart and mind, but Suri is not going to have that opportunity.
I bet the reason there are always “handlers” around Suri is because Tom Cruise wants to make sure Katie doesn’t try to secretly doctrinate her Catholic faith on Suri. I mean the only time Katie is alone with Suri is when they are shopping. And even then they are not really alone. The driver is most likely a Scientologist and when she is shopping with Suri, there is a bodyguard (most likely a Scientologist) walking but a few feet away from them.
No wonder when they were in Germany Katie took a few trips alone to Paris. She probably wanted to entertain the few remaining thoughts she has left. Humans are creatures of habit and the more you repeat a habit, the easier it is to adopt that habit, routine. This girl is in a bad situation.
I am very close to my family but not all families are close. Look at Britney Spears, she has a family but they are not around her when she is in trouble. It was reported that her cousin Ali and two hired help were in her house when she was taken away by the ambulance.
Katie also has a family but she strayed too far away and has gotten her self in over her head. Even when she tries to walk away, she won’t be taking Suri with her and that is going to be too
heartbreaking for her to bear. You can tell she loves this baby a lot. I think she also “sells” her to the public by allowing her to be photographed so much but I think its also an ego thing because this is her child. But Scientology is really a dangerous cult.
I mean we all have our lives and go about our business and comment here and there. But this girl is going to deal with this one day. Poor thing.

IMO, katie holmes was a dubious catholic at best before meeting up with tom cruise, which was a reason why she was able to discard it for scientology in the blink of an eye like that. i mean, paris hilton is christian too (protestant? catholic?) as she is snapped attending church and even purportedly read the holy bible while serving her prison term…. is she really????? there are then of course, other celebrities like mel gibson, martin scorsese, even madonna to an extent who seem to take their religions very seriously. anyways, i have a difficult time pitying her stupidity and ostensible vanity. the way i think, love is the ability to put the object of our affections before our own selves, whether that be self-ego or self-love. and it seems to me she’s more in love with herself than with suri. nguzman, you’re right, i agree with you, and i too feel for suri. but katie, i think she’s completely culpable for whatever mess she’s gotten herself into, if she even has the acuity to perceive it at all.
I just read an article that im not sure is true or not but it was about will smith giving out scientology Personality test gift cards to his film crew which were wrapped among their presents.

Will Smith has joined the ranks of Hollywood power players actively recruiting for the Church of Scientology.
Big stars traditionally distribute “wrap presents” to crew members after completing a film. His recent gift after wrapping next summer’s comedy “Hancock” was a card good for a personality test at your local Scientology center.

Never mind that such tests are given free by the church anyway. The quiz is designed to convert people to the religion by identifying personality flaws that – surprise! – Scientology can fix right up for you.
For a fee, of course.
Smith, who is best buddies with Scientology booster Tom Cruise, has never confirmed that he joined the church. But he told “Access Hollywood” last month: “I was introduced to it by Tom, and I’m a student of world religion. I was raised in a Baptist household. I went to a Catholic school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98% the same ideas of Scientology, 98% the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism.”
Presumably the other 2% is the part about the evil space emperor who put the hydrogen bombs in the volcano.
Smith’s rep was traveling with the actor on Tuesday and unavailable for comment.
I do not have a high regard of celebrities as I think they sell their souls to get ahead in Hollywood. I have always been fascinated with the business of the Entertainment industry. The studio heads, the studio contracts, marketing of actors, movies, making great movies, etc. And I have also read many, many biographies. Sometimes you can read between the lines and sometimes you actually hear actors say it right out that there is or was a casting couch. In one interview I heard Kristie Alley say there is such a thing as a casting couch and she’s been on it. She has always been outrageous and she did not hold back in that interview. The ironic thing about her is that she is also a Scientoloigist but those e-meters and audits have not really helped her cope with her weight problem. It wasn’t until she joined Jenny Craig that her weight dropped and even then she is still up and down.
The celebrity I find amazed to be in this cult is Priscilla Presley. I thought she was smarter than this because she seems to be a smart business woman but she got her daughter involved with this cult.
I must say that I used to not really know anything about Scientology until I started blogging on this website and from here followed links to YOUTUBE. I can’t believe how people can fall into this cult. I think some celebrites follow this path because the person holding the contract to a movie or television show is probably a Scientologist.
In Katie’s case, it was Tom guaranteeing a brillant career like Nicole Kidman’s. You’ll work
with the best directors, get offered the best parts, and then go down in Hollywood history with an Academy Award for Best Actress.
I don’t think the number of photographers that follow Katie today have ever gone after her before. Especially when she’s with Suri. I mean there is an army of photographers. Its like Britney and the Jolie-Pitts. And that is probably what makes her think right now “it was worth it.”
But I am betting one day this girl is going to find herself in the shower praying or crying “how do I get out of this?” The sad thing is that Suri won’t know how to do this. When Suri gets older and runs into problems she’ll be calling her auditor to schedule an appointment to “clear” her mind. No wonder Travolta is really “locked in” he goes 5 times per week whereever he is at in the world. Imagine the dirt they have on him. This is unbeliveable. And Katie can forget about trying to get Tom’s mother or sister as her allies, they are also locked into Scientology. I would be scared to sleep in that house. This is why she is always shopping to get out of the house. A bad trade off.
I think we live in a world that is controlled by a lot of corrupt people. I know that sounds naive but its true. These people (Scientologists) are probably involved in many industries and control a lot of things that go on in this society. Not everything, but a lot of things. They are money hungry and it takes a lot of money to buy power, influence, control. And there are a l ot of people out there “for sale.” I bet if someone researches who produced Mad Money its probably some Scientologist who has an alias name. You guys did read that Tom Cruise has several businesses and one of them is an event planning business. He actually hired himself (his event planning business) to organize his wedding in Italy. His accountant probably found some loop hole in the tax laws to get this wedding to be a tax write off.
And for this idiot Will Smith to drop key adjectives like I was raised in a “Baptist” household. I went to a “Catholic” school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98% the same ideas of Scientology, 98% the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism” is RIDICULOUS.
He clearly thinks that his fan base loves him so much that they will look into Scientologist and cross over because if its good enough for Will Smith then its good enough for me. What a fool he is.
the odd thing is when KH was doing “the creek”- she would tell her Mom that she couldn’t understand why the photogs were always taking pictures of her and that it made her very uncomfortable and she hated it and wished they would quit. now she is out front and center and with her Baby too! I had thought she was the one keeping Suri away from the paps when she was first born as she wanted privacy for both of them. I think TC has poisoned her life and I’m afraid she will never get her life back again because TC will never let her leave w/Suri.
