We’ve heard rumors forever it seems about Jlo’s new album. It was supposed to be out at the end of 2008, then was coming out be February 2009… (remember all those rumors?) and here it is the Fall of 2009 and we still don’t see it. We do, however, see another new “leaked” single featuring Jennifer and Pitbull called “Fresh Out The Oven.”
Another rumor has come out as a result of this song. It has to do with Jennifer calling herself “LoLa.” SF Gate says this name was just for this song and just for fun. They say, “Jennifer and Pitbull got together and the record leaked. Lola is a fun character just for this song.”
Still, she’s got a teaser site up with this new character, and even though she’s trying to change her nickname, we already know she prefers not to be called “Jlo” any longer. I think if “LoLa” caught on she might go with it. She’s all about reinvention, right? That’s why we like her.
Take a listen to “Fresh Out the Oven.” I think it’s a great song and will definitely be a hit. What do you think?
