New romance novel: "Heroes: Saving Charlie"

Charlie. Remember that name? The beautiful girl with an amazing memory, Hiro Nakamura’s inspiration and lost love. He went back in time, fell in love with her, but failed to save her from death – either from her brain tumor or from Sylar’s razor-finger.

If you track the story of Hiro and Charlie (in season 1 episode “Six Months Ago“), he went back in time on her birthday in April, spent six months with her and disappeared a few weeks before he met her again ill-fated day she died.

When Hiro and Charlie met (again) in October (episode 1.08 “Seven Minutes to Midnight“), there was no sign that she even remembered him. It was like they fell in love at first sight, in a brief moment in time cut short by Sylar’s fingers. And yet, two episodes forward and six months back in time, we follow their love story with sparkly eyes and find out they did fall in love.

What really happened in the six months between April and October? For the rest of the season we were all left to wonder.

No more!

Del Ray and the Random House Publishing Group, in full cooperation with Tim Kring, will be publishing a book, a love story, on Hiro and Charlie called “Heroes: Saving Charlie“, written by Aury Wallington. It’s coming out on shelves December 26, 2007. It’s on my list of the most anticipated romance novel of late!
