There have been some new still images from Burn After Reading released. There’s only one photo of Brad Pitt, but it’s awesome because you get to really see his character’s dorktastic hairstyle (and I mean that in the nicest fan way). Go check them out!
I can’t wait to see this movie!

Brad is sooo talented and it is a shame so many just think of him as a pretty face. Hey, the dude can act!!! Hopefully, one day he will get the credit he deserves.

He should have gotten or been nominated for awards for Babel & AOJJ. Many times his choices were to get away from his pretty boy rep – like Fight Club, 12 Monkeys & Snatch. I always wondered if he ever, behind the scenes, thought how ridiculous it was to be considered a vacuous sex symbol just because he was blessed with a pretty face & body. I think in Missouri they value substance more than appearance, and he’s at heart just a good ole boy from Missouri.

Brad & Angie in 2008 Time 100!!!
http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1733748_1733756_1735278,00.html
Heroes & Pioneers, 21 of 100 – Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie (By George Clooney)
It is one thing to talk about the problems of the world and quite another to actually try to change things.
As a team, actors Brad Pitt, 44, and Angelina Jolie, 32, have served as our goodwill ambassadors worldwide. They brought help to Pakistan in 2005, after a catastrophic earthquake killed tens of thousands of people and left millions homeless. They have tended to the poor and sick in Africa. And they’ve raised global awareness—and contributed $1 million of their own money—for the victims of atrocities in Darfur. Brad co-founded Not on Our Watch, an organization set up to focus global attention on Darfur and other hot spots.
In the U.S., Brad and Angelina didn’t just talk about, or even just throw money at, the tragic fallout from Hurricane Katrina. They actually moved to New Orleans and have set about trying to make right what so many have made wrong. Brad established a project to finance and build 150 new homes in the Ninth Ward.
Angelina has worked tirelessly through the United Nations on behalf of refugees around the world, touring border camps in Africa, Asia and Latin America and lobbying on Capitol Hill. The couple cares for three adopted children, from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam, in addition to their biological daughter.
There are hundreds of people who could be honored for their good works, but I’ve seen Brad and Angelina firsthand, and their commitment together is truly impressive.
(Clooney is actively engaged in trying to resolve the Darfur crisis.)
George’s write-up almost made me cry. Thank you, George. Beautifully written – you are a true friend.

Movie looks good!! =] In the pic of Brad it looks like the CD case is empty.
The new pics of them in France are awesome! I don’t mind blurry pics cause that means the paparazzi are finally making use of the zoom features on camera!! =]

This explains all the hats while Brad was filming this movie. I think I heard him say in one interview that he was wearing the hat to hide “really bad hair.” I didn’t think Brad had bad hair days, but the photo’s are proof.

Off topic…I had to purchase AoJJames DVD since my local video rental places don’t even carry it! It’s worth every penny though. The 3 hours didn’t even seem like it cause the movie is riveting and the cinematic shots flow like poetry, so nicely done. I see why Brad got the Best Actor nod at the Venice Film Fest for this movie. He shines!

A lot of the best critics thought it was shameful/criminal how the studio treated AOJJ. The director said he’s still stinging from the experience in an interview. It’s a genuine masterpiece, and maybe the best work Brad has done. If Javier Bardem’s performance didn’t exist, I’m sure Casey Affleck would have won the Best Supporting Oscar.
There’s a fantastic detailed review by Kaya Savas called “A Haunting Character Exploration Of Idolization And Self Diginity. This Is A Masterpiece” on Amazon’s dvd section.
