Nick Mitchell Talks About American Idol

Nick Mitchell, who you may remember best as his alter ego “Norm Gentle” has made it to the Top 36 on the eighth season of American Idol against all odds (and reason?). 

He recently spoke to the News-Times and had a few things to share that you might find interesting.

He says that Idol host, Ryan Seacrest is the “most real guy ever” since he spends a lot of times with the contestants off-camera, making sure they are okay (Wow!  I actually find that surprising).

He explained that he auditioned for the show after one of his friends dared him to go dressed as “Norman Gentle.”  I don’t even know how I feel about that one considering how many people take the whole process so seriously and get turned away.  *sigh*
