Nicole Kidman is busy promoting her new musical “Nine”, and in her promo rounds, she talked to the BBC’s Andrew Marr. In the video, they talked about the cast (Daniel Day-Lewis, Judy Dench, Marion Cotillard among others).
In one of the interview questions, Mr. Marr asked Nicole about Scientology. Like, her ex-husband Tom Cruise and Scientology. She wasn’t very forthcoming:
“Scientology,” said Marr. “A lot of people would say it is a bullying cult.”
Kidman stumbled over her response before deciding she wasn’t going to give one.
“I just don’t . . . This is just so not . . .” she said. Then, “I’m here to publicize ‘Nine.’ If I was here to do an expose on myself then I’d be like, ‘Let’s go,’ but I have no interest in discussing any of that.”
“You don’t want to talk about Scientology?” Marr persisted.
“No, I’ll talk about ‘Nine,’” said Kidman.
Oh, come on Nicole! It’s been a long time, surely you can say something now, right? It’s okay to tell everybody that Tommy Boy was completely nutball crazy! Really! WE ALL ALREADY KNOW. You’re not keeping any secrets here.
