Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are American Idol Fans

Joel Madden updated the Good Charlotte blog today and wrote about how much he has been enjoying American Idol this season.

He and Nicole even had the opportunity to meet two of the contestants in the top ten – Megan Joy Corkey and Matt Giraud.

“They were both really nice and we got to chill for a little while, while Nicole and I grilled them on the show,” Joel writes about the meeting. “They were both so cool about it and pretty much let us geek out.”

Joel is so into the show he’s even debating trying out next year – in disguise! I think that would be fun to see, especially since his disguise is going to involve a fat suit.
