Nicole Richie and Joel Madden spent Saturday afternoon giving back to the community and having fun at the same time! The couple took kids from Beyond Shelter, the shelter their charity raised money for a playground for, to Magic Mountain in Valencia, California.
You might remember that Nicole visited the shelter a few months back. She’s visited many times since then and it’s one of the premier organizations her charity, the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation works with. It’s nice to see that they are giving the kids a fun, care-free day where they can just be kids and play.
The couple rode nearly every ride at the amusement park and got involved in all the festivities. They also had their picture taken with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

Sunday turned into a daddy and me day as Joel was spotted about in Glendale and Hollywood with cutie Harlow in tow. Joel ran some errands and alternated between pushing Harlow in her stroller and carrying her. As always, Harlow got her own cup to play with when Daddy went to Starbucks. You know she’s going to be a huge Starkbucks lover when she gets older!
