Nicole Richie announced today that she’s developing a television show with ABC! Nicole will be starring and producing the half-hour single-camera comedy.
Nicole made the announcement on her blog:
The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.
It sounds a lot like Nicole’s own life!
Daisy Gardner of Californication will write the comedy; Warren Bell of According to Jim will exec produce and supervise the pilot script. Right now, the project is crrently in development, so who knows if it will get picked up for the regular television season.
