Wow, what an honor for an incredibly good movie! Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix picked up nine nominations at the Saturn Awards; here they are:
“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” has received a number of nominations at the upcoming 34th Annual Saturn Awards. Most notably, the film is among those in consideration for Best Fantasy Film. Further nominations went to David Yates, who was nominated for Best Director, and to Michael Goldenberg, for Best Writing. Actor Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) was also nominated for his performance in the Best Performance by a Younger Actor category while actress Imelda Staunton was recognized for her portrayal of Professor Umbridge in the category of Best Supporting Actress.
On a related note, actor Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”
