A declining audience (and perhaps the antics of Nicole and Paris) has caused the E! network to declare a halt to The Simple Life series. Season 5 will be their last, unless they get picked up by another network as stated at Richie Fan!
The Hollywood Reporter says that US TV network E! confirmed that the show’s current fifth season would be its last.
‘The Simple Life’ debuted on Fox in the US in 2003 and ran for three seasons before moving to E! in 2006; the show’s audience is down 20% on last year.
In a statement E! said: “‘…Simple Life’ has been a wonderful addition to the E! schedule for two years, and we will always be grateful to Paris and Nicole for their hard work and graciousness.”

Paris is heading right to the TOP of the entertainment business. She’s multi-multi-talented and certainly doesn’t need The Simple Life any longer.
I look forward to seeing how she show’s the world her talents.
