The Sun started a rumor that producers of the “Sex and the City” sequel wanted Katie Holmes to star in the film. The rumor stated they wanted her to play “a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha.”
Well, Katie’s rep has spoken and said that there is no truth to the claim. Sarah Jessica Parker’s rep also told Access Hollywood that there is not truth to the report.
“Sex and the City” is casting though, if you’re interested.

Would you mind an outside opinion on that from someone who does come here? Hope not!!
IMHO, the problem is so much gossip is posted, rather than real news, that fans go to fansites where they can get info minus the gossip. I think fans are sick of the obnoxious gossip surrounding Katie and Tom and would rather NOT discuss it. Just my opinion though…..

CR,I have the opposite opinion, Ithink people want a bit of spice , reme ber some of the heated discussions that went on, about scie and Tom, Bella , Connor and NK. I like talking about Katies hair and stuff but others might want a bit more. Believe it or not, I actually miss Tyler he/she used to get people going, Tylers comments were not always good but they wer’nt bad like you see on other sites . Puck happy was the same, as was Anon. Leah was all gun ho and then disappeared as quickly as she came, *Katie* was nice. People don’t have to like Tom and Katie,and if opinions are voiced in an ok sort of way its good Ithink, and if you don’t agree with someones comment, I think you should voice an opinion , again in an ok way. For me I don’t mind what people say as long as a little kid does’nt get picked on, beause they have something against her parents, I criticised katie for not putting something warm on Suri in NY, mainly because I used to dress my kids, I never gave them a choice at the age of 2 what they were going to wear. So its great to see Suri rugged up a bit in Melboure. I enjoy coming here and I think JULIE is really nice, Ithink its great reading other peoples opinions, but maybe some people don’t like to have their opinion questioned, as I think has happened sometimes , but I don’t mind if someone doesn’t agree with me and tells me so.
But LINDA you reckon Katie should stay home and make spoilt brats, why didn’t you just stop at she can’t act, dance, or sing, if you wanted to say something. What makes you think the child she has got is a spoiled brat anyway? I’m non ridiculing you I’m just wandering why you would say that.
I still visit this site but honestly I do not have the time any longer to post as often as I did in past years. I have a new job now that is really busy and I am now working on an additional post- graduate degree so I have very little time any more to write lengthy comments as I used to! I still vist almost daily to see pics of Katie but unfortunately I can no longer take as much time to post comments. Plus, its summer here and whatever time I have left over I like to spend it outside grilling, golfing etc. I still will continue to visit though b/c I love to see KH and how she looks and what she is up to!!!
Thought I’d let people know that I do still come although I’m not posting as often, and I love all of the gossip and discussions on hair just as much as I love the facts! I was posting more often when Kaite was in NY, there was a lot to post about! Katie & Tom are living a quieter life at the moment so there’s less to post about, plus I’m very busy at the mo!!! Just wanted to say to Julie; Keep up the good work!!!
ok… That makes me feel better! I am busy too, but I do check in and love suri and to see all the cute pictures! I don’t mind the gossip as long as it is not outwardly mean. People are entitled to their different opinions, and they are in the public eye… It’s somewhat to be expected.
I miss Tyler too, so funny!
@kelly – the comments have gone way down and I am okay with that. I would rather have 4 respectful comments about this couple, then 25 rude ones. In the earlier times of this site, you would see a hundred comments, but they were so mean and nasty toward Tom and Katie.
I also think everyone is busy like me. I haven’t even been commenting as much as I used to. Summer is crazy for me.
I don’t feel I post too much gossip, but that IS part of my job. I post some of the stories that are gossip, because as I have said before, fans need a place to come and defend Tom and Katie. If I didn’t post any of the stories, we might have 1 or 2 post a week with candids. That could get quite boring. And besides, if anyone has a source where they find all real stories on this couple, please let me know.

I agree with you Julie sometimes I just get tired of the personal comments made by people I comment back. Other times bad comments (like the ones made recently) are just so ridiculous I just can’t fathom any person thinking they could be true or taken seriously.
