I must admit, when I heard Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell were expecting twin girls this winter my first
thought was about the trouble the dad-to-be would have when they became teenagers. With the genes from both parents they’re bound to be stunning after all!
Seems I’m not the only one though: Jerry’s having the exact same thoughts!
“They’re only having sex when I’m dead,” Jerry told Entertainment Tonight. “If they don’t date boys at all and just want to be infatuated with their father, that’s what I’m really going for. The nunnery!”
Many fathers want boys, but not Jerry. He’s thrilled to be expecting daughters.
“I am excited I am having girls. I know guys are supposed to say, ‘I want a boy. I want to play baseball,’ but I think I’m going to be good raising girls … I can’t wait. They’re going to be tough chicks.”
Tough, and beautiful: that’s a formidable combo! Jerry says he’s really looking forward to seeing his wife’s good genes passed along to the little ones.
“I’m really excited, I really am. I can’t wait. I’m mostly excited because Rebecca is the most beautiful thing that ever happened to the O’Connell family tree.”
Awww! Apparently the couple is already thinking about names, including ones that rhyme. But on second thoughts, they worry that may be “a little Hansel and Gretel-y.” They’ve got another four months to settle on some!
