The 2009 TONY Awards are on Sunday, June 7th 8/7c on CBS. The nominations were announced today and neither Katie Holmes, nor the cast of “All My Sons”, were nominated for any awards.
I didn’t really expect a nomination for Katie from the reviews I read about the play. I read she was good, but this was her first time. I am sure she needs some more experience under her belt before a nomination might be in her future.

First time on Broadway for Katie …she did an amazing job, but the Tony nod I believe is something altogether different…
almost an earned award…she will get there if she wants it badly enough. But I am sure she is proud of herself, she should be.
The other cast members, I have no idea what the basis for their decisions were…
