For everyone who has been very interested in High School Musical 3 audition information, I have the official word on it. Here are the rules and what they are looking for:
Dancers on HSM 3
- There is NOT an age range for the dancers, however they are looking for a certain age range which is 14 to 18 year olds.
- There is a website up for registration: http://www.principaldancers.com/ (This is NOT the same website to register to be an extra.)
- Dancers will only be seen if they have an agent.
- Principal dancers auditions will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah the week of March 10th – 14th.
Extras on HSM 3
- For extras, they will be using local talent (meaning out of Salt Lake City, Utah) who are signed up at http://www.utahextras.com/.

hi my name is cuan and i’m 19 years old. i live in south africa and i can act really really wel and can sing briliantlly to. but the industry in south africa is really small and theirs neva a chance to prove myself. would they give a south african like me a chance in the audotions

They will open Up the Auditions Is Some Other People Drop Out. Other Than That No more auditions. I am sorry. In An Open Audition It Is 1st come 1st Serve. Thats Just the way it is.

what if you want to be a singer ? what about out of state audations and i am now finding out about this r they doing any more Auditions? and r the dancers are already picked???????
@Gem – no, only in Utah where it’s being filmed.
@Ashley – I believe they are not taking any more auditions for the dancers.
I recently auditioned as a dancer for HSM3. Is there any way to find out information about callback auditons? If a dancer was chosen for a callback, would they have found out right after the audition or a few days later? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

Katie, from what I saw last year at the auditions, You got the callbacks ON THE SPOT. If you don’t, then I guess you don’t get a callback. I don’t know if it’s the same this year though.

why did we have to send our resume to Jason Lapadura? what was he looking for? Was it actors, extras, or dancers?
so can we only get there as extras?! what if we want to act?! where’s the e-mail address of the person we shall send our picture to?!
I`m just wondering if Utahextras.com is actually taking extras at this time. I went to their website since they posted the announcement that they will release the info as soon as they find out. But it’s been more than a month already and the filming has just begun…I`m not sure if we are to send them headshots or if we just wait and see what happens?

I really wish to fly away from Malta and go somewhere with opportunities which will help me live my dream as and actress and singer. But I`m young and don`t have the money.
