According to reports circulating all over the internet, Katie Holmes’ on and of-screen flame from Dawson’s Creek brought her flowers. His name? Joshua Jackson. DUH.
Sources say that he arrived to Katie’s All My Sons rehearsals with a big bunch of flowers. These sources are also saying that Katie was over-joyed and ‘lept’ into his arms. Hmmmm….I don’t believe she ‘lept”. Maybe she gave him a big ‘ol hug.
Supposedly, Jackson invited both Katie and husband Tom Cruise to dinner.
Well, if it’s a true story, that was very sweet of him.

Sources, huh? Please tell me you don’t buy into this tabloid nonsense, Julie! The report originated with Grazia, a tabloid that’s known for posting nonsense and was then picked up by the Daily Mail which is just as bad as Grazia. Maybe worse.
I don’t buy it. IF Josh had shown up during a rehearsal, it would have been amazingly unprofessional and I can’t see him doing that. I’m sure he would have simply called her to arrange a meeting in private. In addition, there are paps camped out in front of the theater all day. I’m quite sure they wouldn’t have missed Josh with a big bouquet of flowers in his hands, and finally, Josh said just yesterday that he hadn’t seen or spoken to Katie in over 3 years.
Gossip is gossip, whether it’s positive or negative.
true or not its no big deal. They’ve always been friends. Bear in mind JJ Abrams runs Fringe and he’s Tom and Katie’s family friend because of MI-3.
I love to see Holmes herself but alas I cant make it for financial reasons and Im not from the East coast.
How can you be friends with someone you haven’t seen or spoken to in 3 years, danika? I mean, that’s what Josh himself said and I don’t think he’d lie!
Just because 2 people have worked with the same person in LA doesn’t mean their friends. It also doesn’t mean they’re NOT friends. I guess my point is, unless you know Katie, Josh, JJ (whom I’ve worked with. He’s an amazing guy and really, really lovely) or Tom, you can’t know whether there’s a connection there. I worked with JJ and I’ve gotten quite friendly with him. Does that mean I know Tom and Katie too? LOL. I don’t!
Iagree with CharlotteRose, if JJ had visited Katie at rehearsals, it would have been seen by the paps that lay in wait for her 24/7 since coming to NYC. Ithink the only people from DC Katie keeps in contact with are James van der Beek and Kerr Smith since they went to the wedding party in LA.

I agree with Charlotte. If he did bring her flowers into a CLOSED rehearsal, who is it that saw her “leap into his arms”? Not the paps in a closed rehearsal! Anyone else would be too professional to mention it. Just silly. When tabloids don’t have anything juicy, they just invent it altogehter. That’s what actually defines them as a tabloid versus a real piece of journalism. That’s why we were all surprised when the Enquirer actually had real news on the Edwards scandal…because nobody really believe tabloids by definition. It’s actually strange when they report something truthful! That is the exception rather than the rule, though.
You can still be friends with people you have not seen everyday of your life. I got friends in Europe and even relatives whom I have not seen for ages and the bond remains. Why is it such a different standard with Katie and her costars that’s different from the other movie and tv castmates that dont keep in touch all the time too. Oh yeah different rules apply only to Tom and Katie.

I don’t buy this either. Josh said recently that he would go see the play but he says he does not keep in touch a lot with former DC-ers.
I agree with Charlotte Rose and her reasoning of why this story is totally fake. This just smells of being made up tabloid garbage.
