According to an exclusive by Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, Mischa Barton’s pilot The Beautiful Life has been picked up by The CW.
The CW will announce its fall schedule officially on Thursday and more details about the show will be given. But for right now, let’s all celebrate! Mischa Barton is headed back to television!
The Beautiful Life, from executive producer Ashton Kutcher, follows the lives a group of New York models who live together. Mischa will be playing a “bitchy” model named Sonya, according to what she has said in the past abou tthe pilot.
Others starring in the show will be Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Sara Paxton (Last House on the Left), Ashley Madekwe (Secret Diary of a Call Girl), Ben Hollingsworth and Nico Tortorella. Here’s a look at the cast.
Former supermodel Elle McPherson will have a role (not sure if it will be regular or a recurring role) as Claudia, the owner of Focus Models, the top modeling agency in New York that runs her business efficiently and like a dictator, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As Mischa Barton fans know, Mischa will be perfect for this role because she LOVES fashion and the fashion world. I can’t wait to see a trailer for the new show. That should be coming on Thursday as well.
This means we should be seeing Mischa in LA this week as well!
