One Life To Live : Dorian's Comeuppance

It would seem storylines from both All My Children and One Life To Live are mirroring each other. While Annie from Pine Valley almost lost her child through Foster Care because of the whole drama she herself created, Dorian in Llanview is also getting her comeuppance by losing custody of Langston.

Because Dorian manipulated and schemed her way into the Buchanan company, Clint feels justified in scheming to get Ray Montez, Langston’s Uncle from Columbia to take Langston away from her. The court awarded custody to Ray who is now preparing to ship Langston to Columbia with him. As a family member I guess that makes sense, right?

Langston and her friends (Starr, Marko and Cole) are of course sad about it. Who wants to lose a friend? Dorian had gone herself arrested and locked up in jail with all his ranting and raving. Thunder may struck me (please don’t) but I don’t feel sorry for Dorian at all. This is her karma. Although people in Pine Valley are hating him right now because they consider his revenge as evil since it involves a teenager after all, I feel no sympathy towards Dorian. I could empathize with her pain of possibly losing a girl she considers her own child but let’s look at the situation here. Dorian would the same thing. Oh wait she has. And what she did resulted to death. Jess lost a husband and her children will never know their father. Dorian has done so many hateful things against Viki, and the Buchanan Family that her karma has finally arrived to bite her in the behind. Should I remind you of the hit and run years ago which resulted to Jess losing her first baby? Uh huh.

When Cole informed the teen group about Clint’s plan, Starr said the funniest thing. “I never knew Clint could be so grimey“. Hmm, you should know Starr, your Dad and Aunt Dorian are number 1 and 2 on the list of the Most Grimey People In Llanview. Heh.
