Ok, I know that Nora is angry at Cole for a LOT of reasons but I think she needs to stop being a bully.
Look I understand that Matthew might not be able to walk. No thanks to Cole’s drug problems and stupidity. But Cole is a good kid. He’s a good yet troubled kid who has been through so much. And he knows what he did. He regrets everything. If he could trade places with Matthew, he would gladly do it.
Nora needs to realize this. I know she’s hurt. I’m a mother too so I understand her pain. But she needs to stop berating the kid. His guilt over the whole thing is obvious. If Nora wants to bully someone, by all means do it to Marty. I know she’s not completely cured of her amnesia yet but she’s the grown-up in this situation. She can handle it. She’s Cole’s Mother after all.
Nora can send him to jail all she wants. Have a trial, whatever. But please, stop getting on Cole’s face. He knows what he’s done and he knows he’ll live with all the consequences. No matter how you twist and turn things, I stand by my opinion, Cole is a good kid. Other people in Llanview has done so much worse. That’s all.

Today, Nora’s ripping a new one in Marty, tell her that she (Marty) is a terrible mother. Question, who has been Cole’s legal guardian for the past year? Oh, yeah, Nora. Nora was the parent figure for Cole while he went through the teen pregnancy with Starr, Hope’s “Death”, and now the drugs at school. Heck, Cole was living in the *same* house as Nora. But Nora was too busy worrying about BE, whether David was going to throw her out into the street, and the *one* joint that Matthew had. Yes, Marty has been less than parental since her “return”, but Nora wasn’t a great parent either.

Stephanie, Your absolutley right Cole was living in the same house as Nora and she didn’t know he was doing drugs. You would think at some point she would have noticed he was doing drugs. How could something not be wrong, getting a mother who dosen’t want him back, and the “death” of his baby.
