After taking the music industry by storm in 2007 with their hit song “Apologize”, OneRepublic have released a new single off of their upcoming album, Waking Up. The new single, “All The Right Moves”, has hit the Internet.
On their Myspacepage, the group wrote, "This album will have a ton more tempo and upbeat stuff than the last album – alot more edgier stuff as well … but fear not – it wouldn’t be a OneRepublic album without some moody melodic mid’s and of course we snuck in a ballad … but we’re definitely not aiming to reproduce or chase album 1 or any of it’s singles.”
So, what do you guys think of the new song? I really loved their single “Apologize”, but I’m not feeling this song so much. With all the work that frontman, Ryan Tedder has been doing on other people’s albums, I was expecting a bit more from the song. Maybe it’s just me, but part of it just sounds unfinished. I doubt this’ll be as big of a hit as “Apologize” and “Stop and Stare.” However, it might just grow on me. Let me know what you guys think!
