Open Mic

Despite the fact that tonight’s episode is a repeat, some people may have missed it, so Medium Dreams is still doing an Open Mic. Besides, it gives those of us who have seen it a chance to talk about all of the great lines again.

I have organic strawberries from my garden coming out my ears, so tonight I will be serving strawberry shortcake with whipped cream and chocolate covered strawberries. Drinks are strawberry smoothies. Let me know if you prefer the alcoholic or nonalcoholic version. For those of you who don’t like strawberries, I have chips and salsa and iced tea.

Fun! Today was my last day of full-time school, so now I will be able to actually stay awake and watch Medium. That should be really great.

I’d love a nonalcohloic strawberry smoothie. Those are always good on hot days like today.

Good Evening to all the loyal Medium fans who actually look forward to the reruns. I am glad that NBC has decided (I think they have) to keep Medium reruns going through the summer. Its a great time to pick up new viewers who didn’t have the chance to watch Medium during the Winter/Spring because of other committments.

    See you guys later

    Hi Holly,
    One smoothie coming up.
    Tom,
Yes, I think it is a fantastic idea. Did anyone notice all the newspapers pushing tonight’s episode as a show to catch? Why didn’t they do that during the season???

  4. Holly

“I just had the strangest dream.”
“I’m going to assume you said that with a straight face.”

    I love Medium.

  5. Holly

Am I the only one watching? I feel so lonely. Someone please humor me…

  6. Katelyn

    Hi Holly,
No, I’m watching. I’m not sure if anyone else is. I guess we get to eat a ton of strawberry desserts!

  7. Holly

Yay for us. I just noticed that this episode has quite a few one liners that make me smile. Just between those two comercials, these characters are great.

I kinda like that song–I haven’t watched this episode lately. Also I wonder why nobody heard her talking to Morgan when they were in the church.

All the things you don’t think about the first time…

  8. Katelyn

Yes, you really catch so much when you watch a second time.

Get your head out of my death.

  10. Katelyn

I haven’t felt this depressed since I was alive.

  11. Katelyn

Seriously, for a dead guy, he has great lines!

    Another great episode among many.

When Joe was trying to figure out how to mount Bridgets project on the refridgerator with the A+, Allison came to the rescue.

I never got the link sent to me yesterday. That’s the thing I don’t like about this new site design – the current topics for this week are not posted for all to see whether or not there are any comments. Katelyn, I have looked at the bottom of the site and they are not there either. Seems they are only on the sidebar when there are comments. Sometimes I get the notification to my yahoo and sometimes I don’t.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite episodes of the whole season! It was different – two ghosts – the ghost not wanting to find the murderer – what a hoot! Scanlon was especially playful in this one – the comment about “all the coolest cats in town are gonna be there” with that little hip wiggle! So cute! Loved the music! Loved the thing with the kids and for once Joe was being such a butt head about Allison being gone on the weekend and didn’t snap at Bridgette for asking for help with her project. Cute project.

    All around good episode.

Tom, looks like NBC is only planning to show Medium repeats every once in a while – only 1 so far scheduled for June!

Now that the President of NBC Entertainment, Kevin Reilly has been ousted, perhaps Medium will get better treatment and be moved up in the pecking order!

Lifetime TV network is still showing Medium every Saturday at 10 PM CST. This Saturday they will be showing “Better Off Dead” as well, but then they have been showing some 1st season eps mixed in with the 3rd season. Don’t understand how they are determining what they show, but at least they are showing it.

Yea Holly! You made it through another school year! All the kids around here got out last Thursday, but my friend who teaches in Houston is still teaching through Friday this week before they get out.

  16. Holly

I watch the show on Lifetime Saturday nights, and I too have been wondering why they are showing the episodes kind of randomly. Earlier they showed season three up until a certain point and then started showing season one again. I wish they would stay in some order, but at least they’re showing it.

I’m now officially a junior, in case you were interested. It seems that I’m going to be even more busy throughout the summer than I was during the school year. I have marching band, newspaper (I’m the new editor-in-chief), summer school (I’m taking health to get ahead, not because I failed), and my Advanced Placement summer homework. Fun!

  17. Betty

Congratulations Holly! Keeping busy is good and keeps you out of trouble – plus being involved in a lot of extracurricular activities teaches you lots of valuable lessons that will help you from here on out. Each year as part of my job, I interview the Valedictorian and Salutatorian from each of the 5 high schools in our county, plus I distribute a questionnaire to ALL the Honor Grads in the 5 high schools and then create a 30 second profile that runs on our radio station for each kid. The one thing these kids have in common is heavy involvement in school activities and athletics. We are a small county, so some of the kids even participate in EVERY sport. They all say they have learned responsibility, leadership, team playing, etc from their involvement. A lot of these kids have part-time jobs, too. In fact, the Valedictorian at one of the schools had a real bad home situation, so at the age of 17, while still in school, she moved out on her own, worked 2 jobs, volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club (where her mentor worked) and still managed to be the Valedictorian! She’s headed to Texas A & M this fall.

Keep up the good work Holly! Stay involved – it will make you a better person!

    Hi Betty,
I’m still getting used to the new design myself. Once the first person comments on a new post, the comment appears under recent comments. The new posts at the bottom are from the entire entertainment channel.

    Holly,
Sounds like you’re going to need a summer vacation after your summer vacation!

you finishing school now, god round here in England they don’t finish until last week of July and back rthe week or so of september

  20. Betty

Hey guys, do you all realize the next 2 episodes that NBC has scheduled to air of Medium are on the 23rd and 30th of June which happen to be Saturdays at 9 PM CST?

Why oh why are they sticking Medium in the graveyard spot of the TV schedule – the networks don’t even program Saturday night any more, they just stick some repeat or some dead show in there.

Why don’t they put it on Sunday now that everything is in repeats anyway since they are determined to move it there after football? They should really put it back on Monday night where it belongs, IMHO.

  21. Holly

I hate to hear that they are treating Medium like that. When they show repeats people who didn’t catch them the first time get to see the show and fall in love with it just like us. I don’t see why they don’t show a repeat every week!

Don’t ask me to explain their ways. I just wish they would help the show out more then they are now (becuase right now they aren’t doing anything!)
