Hi guys, sorry abut putting this up so late, but we are doing an open mic tonight, at 9 PM EST. In this episode, Ariel gets her first real boyfriend, and Allison has to go and ruin everything by thinking he’s a murderer. Teenage angst ensues. Medium went way up in ratings this week. It had the highest total viewers of the night(8.16 million viewers). It came in second in demos too with a 1.9, Ghost Whisperer got a 2.0. This is very good news. If it makes it up to a 2.0 I think it was be totally safe for renewal.
I really enjoyed this episode. It kept me intrigued to the very end and there was lots of great family interaction.
I think my parents would have had the same reaction as Joe and Allison in opening dream, and my home suburb is surrounded by towns on either side classed as teenage pregnancy hotspots.
Loved the little touch of Joe finding the camera amongst pink fur. I guess Allison did replace the camera she bought for Joe’s birthday but had to take back because it kept showing her things!
I do think it’s a little odd that Joe and Allison don’t think she talks to boys at school at all.
And I would like to see the boy again, or at least have Ariel mention him in a future episode. That was my one concern about the storyline, he would serve his one episode purpose and that would be the last we would hear of him.
