Hi guys, it’s that time again: we’re doing an Open Mic tonight at 9 PM EST. In this episode, a virus is on the loose, and Lee may be proposing to Lynn– if Bridgette’s dream doesn’t stop him.
As always, I hope you can join us for the open mic, but if you can’t, feel free to use the comment section of this post as a discussion thread. I want to hear your thoughts on the episode!

Does any body know what the name of that song toward the end of the episode with the female singer, ive been trying to find it forever. Its kind of slow and I dont know any of the words please help me out:-)
Good Story I really liked this episode . The ending was good that the guy ended up sealing his own fate. Worked out well since Allison couldn’t prove him guilty. I was surprised Lee took it so well that Lynn has been legally married this whole time to someone else and didn’t bother to tell him. On my other show (PrP) Charlotte didn’t tell her boyfriend Cooper she was previously married and divorced and he is acting like a total idiot about it. He could take a lesson from Scanlon.
Great Show!!
My favorite scene was when Scanlon sang “I’ve Been Working on the Railrosd” to the baby b/c I sing it to my baby with made-up lyrics. Sooooooo vomitous cute. And he used the scooper for the formula. SVC
Lynn sucked. Really, she’s not any better.
The bad guy was obvious, but I had fun watching it unfold. I liked that Allison got the swine flu shot to protect her kids like I did. I am the demographic apparently.
Great episode! Loved the guys in the space suits paying the Dubois family a visit. They even fixed Joe up. Courteous of them to want to finish before the neighbors wake up. The bad guy got what he deserved in the end which is always good!
The Lee/Lynn story was very sweet. Scanlon looked good with the baby. I hope we get to see more of him with his baby in future episodes. That was a shock to find out Lynn was married this whole time to someone else albeit just in the legal sense. I thought she was gonna tell him she had another kid out there too. Scanlon handled it rather well. Surprised he didn’t check out her history when they first started dating since he is a detective. Oh yeah ,this is tv.
Like the way they kept it real with the whole flu shot thing since I just made my kids appt’ for the H1N1 vaccine earlier today and I did the same thing with trying to switch the time after the receptionist already put it in. That is what I like about medium.
Another good story. The song Lynn was playing took me back. I havent heard that one in years and it sent me on a search. Thanks for the Mazzy Star info.
I absolutely loved that episode and I don’t know why it was the lowest rating this season with a 6.69 million viewers.
First, I would like to say that I loved Lynn this episode for some strange reason. I never really liked her but now I do. She improved a slight bit in this episode and her showing some worry for her baby and Scanlon when the deadly pathogen was released.
I also loved the fact that she did not know what was happening when he was pulling the ring out of her pocket. She was so happy and still wanted the knee and everything! LOL
I do hope we see her more in the future episodes now that she has had her REAL baby. And the fact that she opens more story lines for herself and Scanlon and little Lee.
See you guys next episode!
Oh and don’t forget, the next episode is going to be after the Christmas holidays!!!
The next episode will air on January 6th of the new year!
Merry Christmas Everyone and hope you have a wonderful new year!
I loved that episode! And I was so happy Joe and Allison had a few kisses! That was actually a topic on another message board about how those two haven’t been intimate this season and how it’s so unusual about that.
Was I the only one thinking that Bridgette was seeing the past? Because as soon as she said that Scanlon had a box and was looking sad, I immediately thought of the scene from Four Dreams when he was going to give Lynn the key to his apartment. It has seriously been bothering me now!
On a totally different note, my DVD player refuses to play anything but Medium….I find that very weird.
I loved this episode too! I also enjoyed the part when the scientists came to Allison’s house with the space tunnel outside her door. That family just has the weirdest things happen. What the neighbors must think!
The ending was perfect.
I liked the way they add the music like when the guy was crashing his car in Allison’s dream.
Nice to see Scanlon with his family. Glad the proposal worked out for him. I would hate to see him hurt again like he was in four dreams with the key.
How bout that Lynn was married this whole time and didn’t tell him-Not cool.
Also not cool to lie to him about going out to dinner, could have told him about meeting the attorney.
Karen, ITA about it not being too cool that Lynn didn’t tell Lee about the previous 2-minute marriage. Are they going to go somewhere with this later? Dear God, I hope not. Maybe it was with Joe’s dad. Snarf. As usual, I felt like they threw that in to give her I’m not sure what … a plot, interest, signs of a pulse … Being a detective, I also think Lee would have checked that out. I dated one of those type guys once and he’d researched the heck out of me before the second date (poor guy).
The baby was too cute. I love to see babies on TV because they don’t scream or poop at me on a second by second basis.
Michael, thanks for the heads up about when the next ep will air! Merry holidays and a hopefully nonapocalyptic 2010 to all
LOL also, a happy non-apocalyptic 2012 in the near future too!
We still want Medium to be on then as well.
