The 2008 Forbes Celebrity 100 Power List was released yesterday and Oprah Winfrey, the “Queen of All Media,” was named the world’s most powerful celebrity for the second year in a row and for the fifth time in her career. Golf star, Tiger Woods, came in second place. The list is determined by comparing earnings with other factors such as internet presence, press clippings, magazine covers and mentions on TV and radio.
During the past year Winfrey made a mammoth $275 million while Woods raked in a cool $115 million.

Celebrities are only as powerful as WE make them. Personally, I’m growing tired of the “O” machine… ever since she got involved in the elections, I’ve been a bit weary of her.
Although, her coverage and expose on puppy mills was warranted and needed.
Oh no! I’m in an Oprah Quandary!
