Parade.com has an exclusive interview with Angelina Jolie up on their site – it’s not even available in their magazine! Parade talks to Angie about Changeling, Brad Pitt, how she remains friends with her exes, and what it’s really like to have a family that can’t blink without being photographed.
What helped Jolie get through the toughest scenes of her new movie?
“Clint Eastwood,” Jolie says. “There have been so many times I’ve worked on films that required a lot of emotion, and the director didn’t understand. They’d do 10 takes in a wide shot and you’re crying and crying. And then they’d do close-ups and you’re still trying to emote with the same honesty. Clint doesn’t exhaust you like that. He knows when to move on. And so you feel safe enough to just lay yourself bare and expose everything.”On being friends with her former ex-husbands:
“I have two divorces behind me but I’m still good friends with both my exes, Billy Bob and Jonny Lee [Miller]. I’ve never had to deal with secrets from the men in my life because I’ve always married artists and they’re a very talkative and expressive bunch. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”On her relationship with Brad Pitt?
“I don’t want to spend my life pretending to be somebody else, and I don’t want the person next to me to have to pretend ever, because we have a long life ahead of us. So you just want to be able to be who you are in every moment, and that’s the only way you’ll ever be truly happy.”

I love when she does interviews, she’s so open.

I would like to say thank you to Sherry as all of you out there, The Pittfans for making this site so pleasant to read and participate. I’m in awe in the Jolie-Pitt family. I watched the x17online video and how Angie and Brad are so natural and easy with their boys, even when they discipline them. I saw how Brad interacts with Angie it was really beautiful (I love how he hugged her). As for the W cover, it is amazing. The photographer capture his subject with love and admiration, just lovely. I believe there is a subtle message here about breastfeeding. Not many of the Hollywood types do not promote this view publicly. Maybe Angie, because she is an icon is reaching to a younger generation and saying: “Hey this is alright”. I’m not a mind reader and I certainly don’t object to the picture.
i love brad and Angie they make a great couple, they get threw a lot of tough times i think they will be happy for a long time.congrats Angie and brad, your children are beautiful.
I saw the picture of Angelina on the cover of W and she looks breathtaking. You can tell immediately that the person taking the pic is someone she loves deeply. Can’t wait for the rest of the pics.

In town to launch the Shah Rukh Khan Boulevard, the superstar was at his wittiest as he chit-chatted about issues he has rarely talked about in the past. Mazhar Farooqui gets you the juicy details.
If he were a woman for one day, who would he want to be?
“Angelina Jolie. I find her lips very sensual. Of course, I will never be able to feel them on my face. By turning into Angelina Jolie herself, I would be able to acquire her face and see what it feels to have those luscious lips.”
this interview seems a of a bit of a cut and paste interview. not the changeling part, but other bits i have read before, the excate same words
Thanks Sherry for the Parade interview. Very sweet.
I love listening to her give an interview. She is so intelligent and thinks about what she going to say. She is honest and says what she feels which usually gets her in trouble. She always praises Brad. The interviewers always ask about her family and Brad. She is one beautiful lady! I will buy this magazine.
Fan from Vietnam, thank you for that link. I can’t wait to read the complete W article. That was a nice teaser. Again, love her responses. I love how she describes her body now as having gone through a beautiful journey. And I love her change, how she has accepted it instead of resisting it. And lastly, love how she attributes some of her new life perspectives to Brad being in her life.
People mag has a very nice article about Angie and how she has changed her mind because of her love for Brad. It is really sweet. Here is the link.

There’s another Angelina interview posted in one of the leading newspapers in the Philippines. Here’s the link: http://showbizandstyle.inquirer.net/entertainment/entertainment/view/20081009-165573/Angelina-Raising-twins-twice-as-fun
I want to hop in that tub at the end of the day with Brad Pitt………some people have all the luck!
I agree with the above views.
I really like her response about her relationship with Brad. I love how they encourage each other to be authentic with each other, and how she stated her sentiments in regards to that question truly sounds like she and Brad are in for the long haul with each other for a very, very, very long time. It wasn’t like one of the past interviews with Kate Hudson, when she was still with her husband then. She mentioned something along the lines of having to talk to each other first if one of them were thinking about cheating … It’s not there was anything wrong with that kind of honesty with each other, but when she said that, I had a feeling they were eventually going to separate. And I’m not meaning to insult Jennifer Aniston, but also in her past interviews–when she and Brad were still married–she had mentioned that she didn’t think they were soul mates, and again, I knew then they were going to hit a very rough patch and possibly one that couldn’t be mended. There’s just something about expressing ones thoughts/philosophies that foreshadow circumstances.
Angie always give interesting interviews. She has strong opinions and she is not afraid to express them. When you read/watch her interviews through the years, you can see how much she has changed, from Hollywood wild child to one of the world’s most admired women.
I love this short but great interview. I have always had great admiration for the acting profession simply because I know I can never do it. I will never be able to cry and express my emotion again and again for a scene in front of the camera and so many people. I heard some actors have to do 40-50 takes for one single scene because the director is not satisfied. One must be very lucky to work with a director like Clint Eastwood.
Like somebody has said Angie is like an open book. I love her because she is always so honest and open in interviews, but that may also make her become more vulnerable in the public eye, especially to those who do not like her.
I love the last line, where she says that the world can hate her and fall apart, but she always has her children. I admire her so much, and how she always says what she thinks and believes in, no matter what.
I admire Angie because she is honest, & above all has a good heart.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.
Thanks, Sherry for always being on top of the newest and latest news. I would never find all this myself. Angie says she is still friends with both of her ex’s, and God only knows how many times we have seen headlines that read: Angie mad at Brad because he talked to Jen on the phone. Angie leaving Brad because he still thinks of Jen. Angie doesn’t like Brad’s Mom because she still has a relationship with Jen. I am sure that what is good for goose is good for the gander. Little by little through these interviews Angie straightens out all of the gossip mazazine garabage.
i agree sherry… one of the reasons i love angie is because she is not scare to be so open about what she feels.
