Paris Hilton has declared that her relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden is real, telling Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “No, it’s not a hoax, we’re really happy.”
Doubts have been raised about the authenticity of the new couple, after Hilton was involved in a stunt for Ashton Kutcher’s new show ‘Pop Fiction’, which has celebrities playing jokes on the paparazzi and media.
“This is not for Pop Fiction,” Hilton says.
Madden separated from his fiance, Australian actress Sophie Monk, in February after 18 months together, with many tabloids claiming that Hilton was the reason for the split.
Seacrest asked the socialite about her new relationship, and Hilton responded, “We’ve actually been friends for a couple of years now. We’re really happy. I feel very safe and very secure. He’s an amazing guy.”
