It seems there is another celebrity at fault for Paris Hilton’s drunk-driving arrest a few months back….

Rocker Courtney Love insists she is the reason socialite Paris Hilton was arrested for drink-driving in September (06).
The 25-year-old was stopped by police after leaving a Hollywood party and arrested for driving under the influence with a reported blood-alcohol level of at least 0.08 per cent.
Love came to Hilton’s defence at the Billboard Music Awards on Monday night (04Dec06), which Hilton backed out of hosting at the last minute, and revealed she was behind the arrest.
Love tells E! News, “Paris is my friend. She’s really well-mannered. When she got arrested that night for Dui it was because we were drag racing. I don’t want to pass judgment on anybody.”
The Stars Are Blind singer could be sentenced to six months in jail and fined $1,000 for the incident.
