Most people have a love or hate relationship with tabloid queen Paris Hilton — they either love her or hate her.
Depending on what side of the Paris Hilton fence you are standing on will determine whether you are interested in Hilton’s new reality show on MTV – My New BFF, which will premiere on Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT for 10 episodes.
Eighteen contestants — 16 women and two men Hilton clone wannabees – will compete for the title of Hilton’s new BFF through tests of loyalty, endurance and girl politics using their wits, charm and looks. Possible examples of challenges include Paris inviting them to a club but forgetting to put them on the guest list, or flying them to a red carpet event without luggage and expecting them to be ready on the fly.
Expect phrases such as “I’m bored” and “That’s hot” to be integral parts of the show in some way.
And what are some of Paris’ qualifications for a new BFF: Must love pink, dogs, be hot and not hit on her boyfriend.
