Patricia Arquette is on the host committee for the Inaugural Purple Ball being held in Washington, DC on January 20, 2009 at 8 pm EST in the Fairmont Hotel. The ball is a celebration of Barack Obama’s inauguration and a chance to raise funds for the Eracism Foundation.
So, there’s a chance Patricia Arquette and the rest of the host committee will be there, but the cheapest tickets are $500 and are only available for specific groups, such as teachers and soldiers. If you don’t qualify, you’ll be shelling out $1000 for VIP seating and $2000 for purple seating. (I have no idea what purple seating is. Maybe the chairs are all purple?) That’s pretty much cash to shell out for a possible chance to meet our favorite t.v. show star, huh?
I’m personally going to sit at home and hope for tons of great photos. I think Patricia Arquette would look fantastic in purple.
Other people on the host committee include Louis Gossett Jr., Asal Masomi, Amy Brenneman, Ed Harris, Ashley Judd, Josh Lucas, Amy Madigan, Brad Silberling and Kate Walsh.

Wow! That is a lot of Ka-Ching!
