If any of you were wondering how life on the Grey’s set is going without Isaiah, Patrick Dempsey provides some insight:
“It’s a lot lighter, people are having more fun.The energy and the adjustments make a big difference,” he says, referring to the departure of Isaiah Washington after an on-set altercation between the stars last season.Definitely pumped to be back at Seattle Grace, he declares, “I’m going to go save some lives again!”
Well “fun” seems to be the general theme of season 4. I’m all for it. Bring on the fun!

I’m all for getting back to fun. I’m a bit tired though of IW becoming the scapegoat for all of the problems with season 3. OK, they had problems with him as an actor – but was he the one who wrote the script or suggested the story lines? Of course not. So while the actors themselves might feel more free now that the controversy is past, it will take the writers to really turn around the non-IW-related mistakes of last season to create a watchable show again.
I am a huge fan of the show, but I think removing Isaiah Washington was a mistake. He adds a depth to the acting that no one else on the show can offer. His character is also very solid int eh midst of some very flaky people. He also deserves another chance. He has done everything he can to right his wrong. If Don Imus get a radio show again, IW must rejoin Grey’s. I miss him already.
i am happy about having fun on the set thing too, but the show is just missing something without isiah washington. his role is predominant in the show and i think if they have problem with him, they need to solve it within themselves because he already tried to make things right. whenever i see christina kissing another guy or the doctors doing surgerym i think of burke. i want him back, atleast to clear up some air and bring back more drama into the show like before. i bet if they say he is coming back a lot of people will tune in to see what will happen and this is totally going to boost their ratings, because right now, it getting low.
I believe that Dr. Preston Burke is a very important character of Grey’s Anatomy. However, if the other actors/actresses would feel that they could better work without him for some reasons that they probably only know, I think in the long run, it will also have a good effect on the show.
That’s all.
More power to the writer and the actors there.
