Paula Abdul started her Super Bowl pre-game performance with a little bit of “Forever You Girl” and then launched into her new song, “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.”
I’m not trying to be critical (at all) but it seems like she’s got the chronic pain thing under control (from what it seems anyway). I also hate to admit it but I kinda dig this song. Do you guys like it?

LOL, Roxanne that was funny. Paula did seem like she had that “Britney computerized voice” but I have to agree Britney sounds better lol. I just listened to Brit’s CD yesterday and have to admit even though she is a wreck right now, the album is HOT–>I doubt Paula can bring it like that! LOL.

I loved it! Paula did a great job! I’m a huge fan of hers, considering all she has been through, I can’t imagine how happy and excited she is to be back. If I was her, I wouldn’t have done it live either, I think that would’ve been too much for her right now. I mean, this is the first time she has performed in a while, but it must have been comforting to have the fans there, she is used to that from Idol. I’m sure that helped with her nerves a lot.
I hate people are comparing her with Britney, in my opinion, that is such a slap in the face to even attempt to compare her performance to Britney-where’s B’s career now? Do I hear a toilet flushing?
I think Paula was under pressure and had to produce and she did it in spades.
I am not a fan of the techno voice, but others are, so good for her. She could not sing in that environment (loud stadium) and put everything into the dance and it showed as how a professional performance should come across.
Rumor control: Her being on Dancing with the Stars? Too much work while Idol is on, I dont’ think it is physically possible, not to even get into a conflict of interest.
You know, regardless of pre recorded or not, this is awesome, shes great, I’m actually impressed, for her not having something new and doing anything like this for years, GOOD for her! I was a Paula fan before and I still am !!

Too bad it was pre-tapped cuz miss thang couldn’t handle the pressure of doing it live…she is a joke….thank goodness for computerized voice overs! I feel like she punk’d out by pre-tapping the show, at least Britney attempted to do it live.
