Back in March of last year, some rumors appeared about Paula being drunk or high. She was talking about something Simon said when he was dealing with the X-factor. It was about melons, cornflakes and fortune cookies. She wasn’t making any sense at all.
And now you can see the way Paula’s eyes aren’t focused, she keeps resting her head on the table or on her arms, like she has trouble holding it up. She waves her arms around widely sometimes. It’s not just one or two episodes this year, it seems like every time she is on tv, including the news interview where she appears to take a nap.
And if she is on pain medication due to an old back injury, why doesn’t it hurt her to take off running after Simon, who is chasing down a fellow that bought Paula and Randy’s dvd that is supoose to teach you to sing. She runs like crazy up stairs, then jumps around. Several times, she gets the huge hugs from competitors, even some lifting her in a bear hug. Where is the pain?
She isn’t on pain meds, folks. She is either drunk or high, or both. She is probably sick and tired of being a judge. You can tell she gets so angry at Simon for being so mean and critical. She constantly says things under her breath to or about him, during his barrages of negativity. She is obviously a caring person, and doesn’t like to see people hurt or disappointed. It would be very hard to have to be the bad guy, and say no thousands of times, seeing people’s hopes and dreams crushed.
Does this excuse her for being high and/or drunk?
NO way.
If she can’t handle her job in a professional manner, then move over and make room for someone who can.
And since we are ranting about Idol judges, Simon needs to get over his bias viewed against males. He rarely says yes to males when Randy and Paula say yes. And when a judge can be swayed so openly by flirting and inflating egos, it degrades the integrity of the program.
It seems like Paula and Simon don’t take their jobs seriously enough. Yes…it’s a tv program for entertainment, but what they say and do can affect these young people for life.
Like me, Paula Abdul can’t face another season of American Idol without self-medicating…
Perhaps you’ve seen this video of Paula Abdul slurring, weaving and catnapping her way through an interview with a couple of Seattle’s finest newscasters. But you’ll watch it again. Just like you’ll watch “American Idol” in the hopes of seeing……
I wouldn’t mind poking her in from behind. She’s not that bad looking, heck if I’m high and Drink, Me and Her can have a long session of Sex, anal, missionary, 69, you name it. Doesn’t bother me, I just want sex.
