Will American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, be joined by judge, Paula Abdul, during the Super Bowl? Jordin is going to perform at Super Bowl XLII next month and now Yahoo! Music is reporting that Paula is in talks to perform live also (her rep confirmed to E! News on Thursday).
The game takes place on February 3, 2008 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. I haven’t read anything that explains whether Paula’s performance would be during or before the game.
I used to really like Paula when she was really popular and it would be nice to see her performing again (I know some of you won’t agree). Still, I’d be a nervous wreck if I were her.

Paula’s performance was great despite the fact it had been 10 yrs or more since she had stood behind a microphone on a stage and performed. She may be sensitive a lot of the times but gosh could you blame her? No one does anything but talk about her and put her down, then everyone sits around wondering why she does the things she does and acts out the way she does. Shes had enough she cant take it anymore. Humans can only take so much. She has worked extremely hard to get where she is now and I applaud her for that. Everyone needs to stop mistreating her walking all over her because one reason being shes little. For some reason people walk all over short people thinking were going to step back and let it roll off our backs but thats not the case. Shes simply wore out thats why it seems shes on drugs. I’m sure everyone else in this world acts odd, silly and strange at times to when their tired and anyone who says they don’t is lieing. Shes tired. Give her a damn break. So YOU GO PAULA!!! Show everyone they are wrong keep doing what your doing your great!!!!!
Are you serious? She was amazing!! Especially considering all that she has gone through health wise, with her illness and the injuries she has. I’m surprised she can still move around as well as she does. I’m so excited and happy for her. Paula is a trooper, I have a lot of respect for her.

I don’t know what to think, but it sounds more like it is a sure thing. I’m nervous for her, but I’m excited to see her perform again. It’s been way too long! Hopefully, it will shut some people up who are bashing her for a change. I will be anxious to see what Simon’s response will be. lol I think it’s great though, Paula is a amazing performer. I’ve been a fan of hers from the time Straight Up came out, so I’m always going to be rooting for her.
Wait, wait?! I saw Hey Paula – she has had way too many broken vertibrae to perform. Every day is pain for her. She had 57 million surgeries you know!! (cries out) Why do they keep doing these things to her, Why! Why! Hey, guys, I’m trying to tell you something here!!!1
Yeah, I will believe it when I see it. Does it predate Idol? If so, I can see her being replaced if she does a Britney like performance, but I really expect this not to happen because Paula is a very, very busy person.
