Chef Paula Deen is one of my favorites on the Food Network. She makes down-home southern food and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Paula joked that their sofa is as hard as her arteries (funny but scary!). Joy Behar joked that Jenny Craig thinks Paula is a terrorist (ha ha!).
I just adore how candid, honest and self-deprecating she can be because it puts you immediately at ease. She’s the sweetest, funniest lady. The hilarious stories just kept on coming and included snippets about how she found her husband, the time Kathy Griffin slept over at her home and, of course, the fact that she’s gone nuts (not really but watch to find out what she really meant)!
As mentioned, Paula shares her recipes on The View website for “Bobby’s Goulash,” “Cheese Ravioli with Creamy Pesto Sauce & Spicy Shrimp,” “Spinach, Artichoke, Roasted Red Pepper Dip” and “Banana Nut Cake.”
Why not give them a try? I’m planning to see if there’s anything I can adapt to make lower fat. Experiment a little!
