Paulina Porizkova in the CW Lounge

Paulina Porizkova, judge on America’s Next Top Model took a few moments last week to answer questions from fans in the CW Lounge–a place where usually the eliminated models stop by to chat.

She chats about what qualities she looks for in contestants, Whitney Thompson, her love for Lauren, Nigel Barker, judging panel and more. She’s absolutely ruthless in her answers, just like she is in her critiques on the show.

As mean as she can be sometimes, I love Paulina. She’s the fresh face that the judging panel needed last season and I’m glad she stuck around for this cycle.

If Paulina says the show isn’t fixed, no one on earth should say otherwise, lol. She’s one of those people who would tell it like it is, she even admitted to thinking it was fixed until she got on the show. Kudos

They actually did some Q&A’s last cycle, too.

Michelle, I noticed that too and the screeching halt to the models answering questions came after Renee in Cycle 8 (the Jaslene win Cycle, which was 8, yes?) said in her CW lounge Q&A that she hated the haircut makeover they gave her because she thought is was more of a mullet and that she ended up looking like a soccer mom more than a model. I think that pretty much ended the Q&A process, which is, I agree, too bad, because that’s our last chance to hear from most of these women.

I haven’t watched this yet but why aren’t they letting the models answer questions each week like they were in the past? I liked that, and I think they should bring it back.

Nice interview. I don’t think Paulina is mean (nor did I think Janice was either). I think she’s honest and blunt. My understanding is that these girls when they go to modeling agencies hear a LOT worse than what they are getting on ANTM. I actually think Tyra does them a disservice because a lot of them have said ANTM does not prepare them for what really happens once they try and get signed.
