I understand that some girls are naturally thin (I went to an all girls' college, I know thin) but most folks in the know believe that Shenae is starving herself. Dr. Joyce Peters places her weight at below 90 pounds. For her height, a healthy weight would be, at the lowest end, assuming a small frame, 107 pounds (though more appropriately 115 pounds). So, at the low end of the scale, she is 15% below what's healthy. Her current BMI puts her BELOW the 5th percentile, which is classified as "underweight." Additionally, numerous cast and crew have volunteered to media outlets that they've never seen Shenae eat. One source told Us: "The girls were all skinny when they started, but they’re definitely thinner now." Thanks for your comments. The fact of the matter is that she is a very petite girl and is certainly not one to fit in the "thin L.A. girls" category- she grew up in Canada and lived here up until this summer when she moved to Hollywood to do 90210. I have been a big fan of hers since her debut in Degrassi: the Next Generation, a few years ago, and have seen her downtown Toronto many times, and more recently a few months ago. All this to say that she did not appear to be grotesque, she's a lovely girl. Assuredly not like those tiny skeletors you have walking around in L.A.
