As expected, not everyone was convinced when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed up together at the DGAs the other night, citing it as publicity. I have to ask, publicity for what exactly? Brad doesn’t have any movies out right now and Angelina’s next movie won’t hit theaters until July. As usual though, not everyone is willing to believe that Brad and Angelina are solid.
On the other hand, People.com posted a great article describing Brad and Angelina at the awards. They were said to have been spotted sneaking in through the kitchen which is kind of cute; it makes them sound like a couple of kids themselves. They were probably late – anyone with kids can attest to how hard it is to be on time for things! – and slipped in the back way.
The article also added that they held hands all night and laughed together. Meanwhile, guests who were in attendance with them confirmed that there was no denying that Brad and Angelina were very loving and happy throughout the night:
“They were a loving couple,” says a guest who spent time with them throughout the Jan. 30 event. “It was nothing you could fake. You could feel it, and you could see in their body language that it’s just a beautiful relationship. They were very sweet and tender with each other.”
The article continues, saying that Brad and Angelina stayed for the full four hours and then hung around afterwards to chat with others and to sign autographs (which we saw when we had the photo of Angelina signing a notebook for someone, which I re-posted above).
It concludes with another guest saying that despite what might be in the slag rags, “”Those two were very much together.”
Well no kidding! We already knew that, didn’t we PittWatch readers?
I think they sneak in the hotel through the kitchen to avoid cameramen.
People Magazine says Angie’s photos were taken inside of hotel.
As I wrote on old thread I think Angie/Brad knows the spotlight should be on directors at DGA. And they knew DGA is more private than other awards ceremony and not aired for TV show.
This is their routine. I remember they started this thing when Munich was screened (2006)in LA. They sneaked into the theater after journalists finished interviews with Spielberg and Eric Bana. They did it without being taken any photos.
If my memory is correct there were NO photos of them together ON THE RED CARPET in the past UNLESS they were there to promote their OWN FILMS or they were there as the award nominee.
So sorry for some fans who expected them on the red carpets in this year’s award season. You can expect them on the red carpet if The Tree of Life will be shown at Cannes.

My 2 cents – I think the true reason for this continuous breakup stories is they want to be the first to say “I told you so”. A bit ridiculous since they have been saying that since Adam & Eve. All I need to do is watch the UNICEF Ball video where Brad kissed Angie on the forehead and know that these two are emotionally in love with each other. You don’t fake that. They don’t want to have their pictures taken together because it wasn’t their night, it was honoring the Directors. Thanks Sherry for the article.

i am soooooooo tired of all the “crap” about pitt and jolie. i was at walmart last night, and saw the cover of “in/touch” magazine!!! how brad is miserable with angelina. i didn’t even want to look at it. i don’t know how these people can spend so much $$ on printing lies!!! i actually thought that perhaps, finally, this will be the year that they won’t get so much attention, but, i guess not!!! and i do hope they stay in europe for a bit, get away from all this madness!! and why is it that the media always has to reference pitt when interviewing aniston?? i don’t see them doing that with all other couples who have already separated!! i am sick of that too!!!! rrrrr….. thanks for letting me vent. :) thanks sherry for your positive website !!!

Glad to see the truth written about Brad & Angie for a change. Feels like a breath of fresh air. I don’t know how people who work for “slag rags” live with themselves knowing they write lies about celebrities every week, or in the case of web blogs, every day. It’s like being on the bottom of the barrel of the food chain.
gw – Thanks for that link to the Guardian article. I think of it as karma. What goes around comes around. I hope they get slapped with a huge lawsuit after that ruling.

thanks Sherry, I was kinna upset with all the tabloids. I hope to see the pictures of the family before the go/eave for her new movie. Do you think you can or use your magic to have at least a picture of the kids, for the sake of our all gooooood fans.

I’ve been an admirer of Angelina longer than Brad’s but now I am of both, I’ve read about Angelina going through her youth and how she has matured and as any other normal person how she got more responsible with age, and started her own family, etc., I guess Brad has gone through the same road and what they lived before prepared them to be together now and have a great family and a good life where they help other people. They have their flaws and bad moments as any mortal, but I’m sure that is something only few people know, their friends or family not people who work for slag mags, but these people seem to forget that in general we all are good people who want a good life. God bless the Jolie-Pitts and all their fans

Elizabeth- Don’t worry. I’m guessing we’ll actually be seeing a lot of the whole family once they’re in Europe. It seems like we actually see the kids more when the family is in Europe. :)

joliepittfanatic – I soo agree with you. Every time the Jolie-Pitts are in Europe we see a lot more pics of them than we see when they are in US. I can´t wait to see if Brad and Angie will finally bring Knox and Viv to publicity so that we can see how much they´ve grown. I´m 100 % certain that those two cuties are already walking. It would be cute to see them walking hand in hand with their older siblings. But maybe their mum and dad will be carrying them. In that way it will be easier to control them. I´m sure that Viv looks more and more like her beautiful mum and Knox certainly is an interesting mix of both his mum and dad with those beautiful blue eyes. God bless this beautiful family always!
