Did Michael Lohan file paperwork against gossip blogger Perez Hilton?
According to this paperwork, it appears so. Check out this video of Michael Lohan discussing the cease and desist order. (He does discuss Lindsay a little too in this video)
Dated Oct. 5, the letter from Stephanie G. Ovadia & Associates in New York is addressed to Mario Lavandeira aka Perez Hilton.
The letter says the firm has been retained to demand that Perez Hilton refrain displaying renderings on photographs or pictures of Michael Lohan as they are causing him “distress, embarrassment, annoyance and harm to my client.”
The firm asks that the photos and tags superimposed on the renderings, which can be interpreted as obscene and/or defamatory, be removed because they have not be authorized by Michael Lohan.
Basically, Perez Hilton’s blog likes to computer-draw little pictures or words around celebrity photos. I’m not a lawyer so I don’t know if anything will come of this. I’m sure a lot of celebrities would like it if these words disappeared from their photos on his blog. For example, he calls The O.C.’s Mischa Barton “Mushy,” which irritates the crap out of me.

Silly me, I thought Michael Lohan was sending the “cease and desist” letter to Perez Hilton on behalf of his daughters, thats why Lindsay’s representative had to issue the statement that her father was doing this on his own! Its seems Michael Lohan is running true to form and looking after himself.
saint michael is living in a dreamworld if he thinks this letter will work against the likes of the bane of hollywierd,perezhole. while i HATE everything perezhole is and stands for,the net is the last bastion of opinion/expression freedom,as the trashmedia can be totally bought/influenced,and any win against the scumbag perezhole will render the media totally under the PC/liberal umbrella,sad to say. i was no fan of the eight years of bushism,but under obama,i feel like i’m living in Venezuela,pics of chavez/saddam everywhere. all i see is obama,obama,obama,everywhere,mags,tv,media,public,etc,so for saint michael to win,would allow electronic censorship to win on a grand scale…:(
