I got an email earlier from a reader who had stopped by the Stop & Shop in Oyster Bay with her sister – and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were shopping there as well!
They were only able to get a cell phone picture from a distance, but you know what? I don’t mind because it means that they kept shopping in peace instead of being accosted. I also see that Brad is wearing his cap again.
I like that they were shopping together. With all the money that they have, they could either hire someone to go to the store for them or they could just call in and have their purchases delivered to them but Brad and Angelina chose to go themselves. They may be celebrities but they’re still people, you know?
Also, it’s great to know they were sighted together, considering all the dramatic headlines lately.
In other news, I came across this Long Island real estate blog and the story made me laugh for two reasons – one, because they’re writing about celebrities on a real estate blog, and two, because the pizzeria people didn’t even know it was Brad Pitt until a couple of women recognized him!

Finally, I now have time to have my daily JP fix. Thanks to the fan who got this pic, and thanks double that they took the photo from some distance off and not bothered them. Should lay to rest some of the fight and separated rumours.

The Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie rumor mill has been churning overtime lately. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the stories making the rounds – and whether they’re fact or fiction:
Liquid Diet? Rumor: Angelina is on a liquid diet that has caused her to shed so much weight that she recently passed out on a film set. Truth: “Angie is very happy and healthy,” says a source close to the actress. False
Adopting again? Rumor: Angelina and Brad are adding to their family, this time adopting in the Philippines. Truth: Another non-starter, fresh on the heels of erroneous reports the couple were adopting in India. False
Pregnant? Rumor: Brad and Angelina are expecting another child. Truth: Their twins, Viv and Knox don’t turn 1 until July. False
Suburban Sprawl? Rumor: Now living on New York’s Long Island, the glamour couple now frequent such places as Dunkin’ Donuts. Truth: Yep, they’re living a quiet life these days and were recently spotted grocery shopping at Stop & Shop. True
I know this is kind of off subject, but I know the Jolie-Pitts have 2 dogs. I wonder where they are when the family is traveling?

i think the dogs stay in france
^ as in the miraval estate, where there are alot of people who work at the mirval estate, and so they look after the dogs, that is if the dogs were even brad and angie’s, they could have been some-one else’s dogs but the jolie-pitt kids got to look after them for abit.

Hey Sherry guess you are going to be famous now. We all have always said that Pittwatch is the best.
I hope that the police on Long Island are able to keep the paps away. I am so happy that they were able to go shopping. The last time I believe we saw a picture of them food shopping was in Canada and they were dressed with their motorcyle gear on. This was kind of in the beginning of their relationship.

SfromLI, I think your peace and quiet might have come to an end. I also saw up close pictures of Brad, Angie, Zee and Shiloh. It appears to me that both girls were very upset, and looking at Brad and Angie’s face’s I think they wish that they hadn’t attracted so much attention. Hope they can get back to being left alone. I admit I love seeing the pictures because it confirms everything we have been saying here at Pittwatch, that all is okay and the magazines are doing their usual number on the Jolie-Pitts, but I also feel real uncomfortable when I see the girls upset.
I can’t even explain why but this post made me smile. It is nice that they get family moments.

I think that it is wonderful to see them being real people. Too bad others can’t learn by example. We love you all . Keep up the good work.
taylor- I’m pretty sure the dogs are theirs, as Brad said on Oprah back in November that they have two dogs (a bulldog and a mixed breed), and I can’t see him lying about something like that.
Anyway, I, too, have been wondering where the dogs stay. I’m actually guessing they may be on LI with them right now. At any rate, I’m guessing the kids wouldn’t put up with being seperated from their doggies for very long!
I believe the dogs can travel with the family on the private plane, so I suspect they are with them.
dhc – I also believe that the dogs fly with the family on the private plane. One of the dogs was even photographed by Brad in that photoshoot that was published last year in the W magazine. The children sure love the dogs a lot and can´t live without them for a very long time. They also teach them responsibility.
