PETA is pretty upset with Paris Hilton and her accumulation of tiny dogs! In fact they recently sent some of their resources to hold a protest of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton’s recent purebread puppy purchases.
In what must have been quite the sight, the animal-loving group members were said to have been wearing Britney and Paris masks while holding signs reading, “Shelter Dogs Are Dying and I Don’t Care.”
PETA’s reasoning behind the need for such efforts states: “For every dog or cat purchased from a breeder or a pet store, another dog or cat on death row at an animal shelter must be killed. Every time Spears and Hilton buy yet another dog, they are displaying their ignorance of – or indifference to – the fact that millions of animals are killed every year in the nation’s shelters for lack of good homes.”
Obviously upset over the matter, PETA director Daphna Nachminovitch adds, “Forget jail or rehab; these selfish stars should do a stint in an animal shelter, where they would witness the plight of dogs who end up there after being bought on an impulse.”
For some reason, we can’t help but think that there are more important matters for the group to deal with than two young stars buying puppies. Don’t thousands of people buy purebread pups every day?
It’s silly.
so many people are buying pets, but they see only Paris and Britney…but wait a minute… is buying pets bad?
I dont think so…
PETA is simply a group of insane Hollywood-types who, due to the amount of idle time they have on their hands, put their efforts into this nonsense.

ok seriously, where do you think the animals that dont get sold in pet shops go………. to a shelter where if no one wants them there they die! so even if the animal is bought at a shelter or a pet shop thats one less animal without a home. i work as an office tech at a hugh landfill and we have animals being brought in from the SPCA all the time hugh dumpsters full of like 200 of them and come one no matter how many animals each person buys there will always be the other animal at the other place the got killed because no one got him. SO PETA YOU CANT SAVE THEM ALL! they are going to eventually die if not in a peaceful way like being put to eternal sleep then by a car or a tumor or something just like human do! you dont here peta saying anything about the poor kids who are in a shelter vs. the kids that get adopted from there own mother!!!!! God thats all i can say about all that if i were to really get into it then this would be the longest comment ever
