PETAcrites: Olivia Munn’s Leather(?) Boots At Billboard Unveiling

Lets put aside the fact that PETA’s campaigns are problematic because their constant exploitation of hot, naked women to further their goal of awareness of the exploitation of animals seems a little…backwards, and focus on something that is at least objectively dumb: Like allowing Olivia Munn, the latest actress to strip for a PETA poster, to show up to the billboard unveiling wearing either leather or faux-leather boots. Whaa-whaa. And instead of chastising Munn (according to an onlooker at the event) the people at PETA defensively replied, “This isn’t a leather campaign.”

Well, we guess everyone has to pick their battles, but it seems in poor taste (excuse us, poorer taste) to have your spokes model show up at your event flaunting the very thing you’ve built your entire organization against. What’s next? An All-U-Can-Eat ribs bar at the next PETA party?
