Here’s the ad for Jessica Simpson’s new vitamin beer for Stampede Light Plus. We mentioned yesterday that Jessica will get a 15% stake in the company as part of her endorsement deal.
In the ad, she’s got a low-cut shirt on and a cowboy hat, and sits next to the tagline:
“Be smart, drink smart. I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That’s why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede light, it’s beer plus.”
Jessica looks great, of course, but I speculated yesterday that this ad will probably most appeal to guys. Beer commercials and ads usually ARE targeted to men. But in my opinion, women are the ones more likely to buy vitamin beer. What’s your opinion? What do you think of the ad and how it fits with her new country image?
