As I mentioned earlier this morning, Angelina Jolie is in Washington, D.C. today for World Refugee Day events. She arrived via private jet this morning with Maddox and Pax.
Meanwhile, as for her plans to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Hillary’s Chief of Staff issued the following statement:
“On the way to the White House late this afternoon, Secretary Clinton fell and suffered a right elbow fracture. She was treated at The George Washington University Hospital before heading home.”
It’s too bad that she won’t be able to attend, I would love to see these two powerful women discussing how we can all help refugees around the world, but at least Angelina is still there!

Hi all! I’m back from vacation. From what I’ve read in the comments thus far, it sounds like my vacation timing couldn’t have been better, as the commets were apparently a bit wonky for most of the last few weeks anyway (I’m sad to see that apparently it’s been a bit more difficult than the tech people orginally anticpated to get a new system for recieving e-mail updates about comments in place, though. However, I am hopeful that they will get one in place eventually.) :)
In anycase…I’d end up practically writing a book if I wrote down comments on the bits and pieces of J-P rumors and news (mostly, unfourtnately, the former) that I stumbled across while on vacation, so I’m going to make a post about it on my blog (Jolie-Pitt Resource). I will post the link in the comments section here on PittWatch once I’ve got it written. :)
I found this article about another magnificent woman who has an amazing family. I was watching a movie staring Bree Condon and I found out that she’s from an adopted family of 13 children. The mother has a doctorate, and it sounds like they have a tight and loving family. Reading this, made me thing of the Jolie-Pitt family. I don’t know if I have the energy to have such a family, but I respect and applaud those that make the attempt and pull it off.

I praise Brangelina for all the Charities they have donated to. Don’t really hear much about other big Hollywood stars donating that kind of money. I guess that’s why Brad and Angie are the most powerful couple in the world. Keep up the good work.
Oh no, Hillary Clinton fell and fractured her elbow, that must of hurt alot. She would say that was NOT her Funny Bone. I hope she will be ok soon.

CNN and MSNBC said she was scheduled to attend an “event” with Angelina Jolie, and not a meeting with her. I’m sure there will be lots of other dignitaries and movers and shakers for Angelina to be with.
