Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie look like old fashioned Hollywood royalty on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Los Angeles on Monday evening.
Brad is looking very sexy in a nice tuxedo (even with the mustache!) and Angelina is drop-dead gorgeous in a simple, long black strapless gown with her hair pulled off her face and minimal makeup.

foxy brown and marissa, i was thinking of the same thing too. it made me wonder how come they don’t have any star on the walk of fame and it made me wonder what’s the qualifications to have one.
btw, brad looks like a handsome gentleman while angie is drop dead gorgeous.
i’m so glad the senior pitt’s attended the premiere. i’m sure brad is proud of this movie. i heard angie and brad’s parents were hanging out while brad was being interviewed. how sweet.

Yes, you’re right, JoliePittFanatic – the JPs have said many times they don’t care about any of that. If I wasn’t so sick I might have remembered. That was just a projection of my own frustration.
About the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF STARS (not the indented hands/feet at Grauman’s Chinese Theater), from what I remember it’s pretty simple – it’s up to us fans to come up with the money and fulfill any other eligibility requirements. The organization and eligibility rules can be googled.

They are absolutely a gorgeous couple. Not only physically but also due to their contributions (monetarily and participation) to their causes. Lori, I agree with you. Brad seems to be more laid back since the focus is on him, so Angie can be more gregarious and I don’t think he looks tired at all.

how sweet! i can’t believe all the other celebs that were there! Such a beautiful couple. it was in Westwood! :( I could have gone! 3 miles away from me but I was working :( Oh well. I went to the “Wanted” premiere in westwood and Angie was about to deliver around that time..sniffle..sniffle…I’ll get them next time!

Brad and Angie are just so beautiful togather they can do no wrong when it comes to beauty and fashion. Love the Family thing, I guess Angie was not kidding when she says that the older you get you start to see your family in you, because she looks like her mother more and more and Brad is looking like his dad too,the family is lovley. They always say it all about the family and nothing else matters proud of them all.Can’t wait to see CCOBB.

Angelina is always considerate, and it showed in her choice of dress. Elegant and sophisticated, it could have been more eye-popping if she had chosen. But she respected that it was Cate’s and Tilda’s time to shine (unlike a wannabe who preened as if it was her time at another premiere).
I was a little upset though that Taraji P. Henson, a wonderful actress who plays a central role as Benjamin’s adoptive mother, wasn’t given the attention and love she deserved – in one report, she wasn’t even listed as part of the cast! Sanaa Lathan is a fantastic actress (sucks as an action star) and rocked this seafoam goddess gown, but honey, Taraji is the star of CCBB – take some photos of Taraji! Don’t know if the problem was Taraji’s publicist, the production publicist, what – but Taraji, Angie, and Brad got close, I think if they had known they would have done something about it.

Jolie, Pitt give $100K to kids’ charity

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (UPI) — Hollywood celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s foundation has donated $100,000 to the Global Action for Children, the charity said.
“With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world,” the organization’s executive director, Jennifer Delaney, said in a statement. “Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child.”
Jolie and Pitt are the parents of six children, three of whom were adopted from various countries.
Added PerezHilton: Santa Angelina Jolie and Poppa Brad Pitt ’s organization, The Jolie-Pitt Foundation, has just given a second donation to Global Action for Children.
The org must be doing something right, as they’re the only charity to receive a second grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation!
As we mentioned in August, Global Action for Children is “a nonpartisan, results-oriented coalition dedicated to advocating for orphans and highly vulnerable children in the developing world. GAC works to increase funding and ensure it is spent effectively so all children have the health care, education, food, and protection they need to grow up safe and healthy.”
GAC just received a $100,000 end-of-year-grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation to help support their efforts.
The Executive Director for Global Action for Children stated “GAC is honored to receive a second grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, and we greatly appreciate the Jolie-Pitt Family’s continued commitment to and support of our work.
“With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world. Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child.”

Thanks for sharing that article, Ligaya, and don’t worry, I don’t think it had been posted before you posted it. :) Anyway, this is one of the few instances where I don’t mind the fact that they mentioned that three of the kids are adopted.
For one thing, they worded it very well, saying saying that three of their kids are adopted from various countries (rather than just saying three of them are adopted. That sounds more like dividing the kids to me). Also, the article was about their charity and humatarian work, which is certainly connected with their adoptions.
All of that said, I forgot to mention last night that, while I LOVE Angie’s outfit, all I can think of when I look at her earrings is Knox and Viv trying to pull them!

Angie is never known to be so particular with fashion, to a point of dressing up for the sake of outshining other celebrities or with the intention of impressing people. I think she chooses her clothes more on COMFORT than style, although it also matters to her to look good as part of her being a celebrity. However, her personality is different. from the rest. She rather not wear something she doesn’t like even though how beautiful the dress is to others if she’s not at ease with it. Comfort over style is her priority. When she’s comfortable, her confidence shows it.
Actually, i really like her sense of style and fashion. Very simple but elegant. Polished looking. She may not be known as risk-taker as to fashion but she handles every dress very well every time. She rarely deviates from her classic style because she knows that’s what works for her. As the saying goes, “IF IT AIN’T BROKE, WHY FIX IT.”
She’s a “minimalist” type of a person. She is a believer of “Less is More”. She sees to it that her accessories and make-up will not make her look like a Christmas Tree. She makes sure her outfit enhances her genetically-blessed features and not outshine them. That’s classy and sophisticated.

just wanted to ask. their both wearing rings. is it identical rings? is it “the ring”? or just for fashion ring? hahaha! just curious! because i still see angie wearing the same ring in Gran Torino, or i’m just imagining things, or it’s not the same ring. i saw the ring first on the LA premiere of brad’s movie and in the link Tyonna gave, the 11 pic, see the ring.

Ligaya!!!! thanks for the thoughtful words for Ms. Taraji Henson I agree with you. I know that she just had to be at the world premiere and I believe that Brad probably gave her some recognition or I hope that he will help the light to shine in her direction during the time of this movie only to help hollywood SEE her and other actresses of color more often. I hope that Taraji does a J Lo and walks right up to Ms Angie and greets her, then I would hope that the shows like E.T or Access or whomever would ask her a question for all to see! Phew Obama has turned some lights on but hollywood is still in the 40’s and 50’s with parity and name rec for every time the world sees a Lindsey Lohan or Anne Hathaway the world is spared an opportunity to know who Meagan Goode or Nia Long or many many more actresses are
