Pictures and Video of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Leaving Hollywood Dance Studio

katie-holmes-01.JPG

As most of you already know, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were spotted in matching stripes leaving a dance studio in Hollywood on June 29th. (Click the picture above to watch the video.) You can see more pictures of the two here.

I think they were trying to sneak out from their late night dance outing, but of course, the paparazzi are just too good.

It definitely appears that Katie is letting Suri’s bangs grow out. That is always a tough stage to go through and I guess she could pin her bangs back out of her face, but if she is anything like my daughter at that age, hair clips stay in for exactly .01 seconds.

The other thing that a lot of you noticed was that Suri is in a diaper and still toting that bottle around. I’m not going to make any comments about Katie’s parenting skills because I have no idea how hard it may be to get the bottle away from Suri or to potty train her. Who knows what’s going on with all of that and I really could care less anyway.

I do know that this little girl is well loved and I think that’s all that matters. People will criticize celebs for every little thing they do or don’t do. I remember hearing all the criticism when pictures of Angelina Jolie and her kids eating Cheetos came out. People had a field day with that one and saying that the Jolie-Pitts only feed their kids junk food. Whatever.

Okay, I’ll get off my soap box. Enjoy the pics. They may be the only ones we have for awhile. :D

She is a cute child, but you definitely can’t tell by looking at these pics. It’s mind boggling that a mother would actually carry her child around like that.

Tyler, I haven’t been nasty to anyone here either, so please give me example.

Like Lauren put it nicely, when we get bombarded with “unfairness of some posters towards Tom and Katie” I too tend to respond strongly but not with anger or nastiness!

  3. concerned mom

Hmm well it is what you perceive to be unfairness but in most cases is called a DIFFERENCE of opinions which we are allowed to have. Would you allow your child to go around looking messy with that hair in eyes besides which she can’t see out as well with the sheepdog look there?? I raised 2 girls and just can’t stand hair in the face. Looks untidy. My daughter’s daughter who is 3, loves her hair ‘up’ and she has much finer shorter hair than Suri has and wears it in the cutest of ponytails. If this were a 2 way posting board I would show you a picture. So cute-and neat… Dressing your little girl in a dress that probably cost a couple of hundred dollars and cute shoes and then just leaving her hair down that covers half her face defeats the whole ‘look’.

  4. Tyler

CM: it’s not just about defeating the look, it shows a lack of parental responsibility. I’ve never seen this on a regular basis. Maybe I just don’t get out much :)

Con.mom, Im sorry but was that comment directed at me? If so, I’ve never said you shouldn’t have DIFFERENT opinions….I’m actually more for that and less attacks and meanness towards TK and innocent children or the posters.

And I didn’t say anything about the hair before, but to answer you question, I’ve no children but I do have niece and nephews. I don’t think Suri looks “messy” at all, but yes, her bangs are too long and covering her eyes and need to be trimmed but it looks like, they’re growing it out and maybe Suri is probably refusing clips or a headband like many babies, including Angelina Jolie daughter Zahara…Angelina said every time they put hair clips or headbands on Zahara she take it off right away.

Lauren, in response to your first paragraph, yes, you are. I only skimmed the rest because it’s more of the usual. Copy and paste?

Tyler, now who is being super nasty?

  7. Lauren

Now Katie is an irresponsible parent because of Suri’s hair? Sheesh………

Con mom all kids are different.

  8. Mary

    A lack of parental responsibility??

Parents are letting their child’s hair grow out and because they are no clips, barrettes, headbands etc, they are labeled as irresponsible?
    Unbelievable!

Is Suri walking around with dirty clothes? Has she been abandoned? It’s hair and the child is two years old and it seems to me that when her hair has reached the length that her parents desire, it will be dealt with.
Suri can use her little hands and push it away from her face if it bothers her, children do it all the time.

Children are different and nowhere is it written that what works for one child will work for every child.

“Children are different and nowhere is it written that what works for one child will work for every child.”
    EXACTLY!

  10. Anon.

So, what do y’all think TC got for his birthday today?

  11. Tia

A very special home made card from the kids and maybe a hamper from Katie?!

  12. Julie Bonner

Thanks for changing the subject Anon. :)

I think we have beat this dead horse.

As far as Tom’s birthday….$100 from Suri and dinner out with Katie – in which they used the $100 from Suri to pay for dinner. :)

At his age and his stage in life, quality family time would be the greatest gift of all!
    Well, IMO!

  14. Tyler

Mary, I challenge you to find any doctor that says it’s healthy for a young child to have their eyes covered. If you can, I’ll apologize. Until then, I stand by my statement. There are barettes that stay put and they don’t cost much :) I understand that getting this child to agree to a barette may be a challenge, but so what? Who sets the rules here? Katie or Suri?

  15. jenna

Seems as if Suri does Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Midwestern Girl

Who care about bangs in her eyes or diapers or being on the bottle- some kids need more time to grow up- but if another car slams into that SUV and Suri dies because she is not in a carseat, Katie (or whoever is supervising Suri) will be going to jail- they are held responsible. It is not ok to keep Suri on her lap, and it is illegal.

  17. Lauren

Shiloh, Kingston etc are all still wearing diapers. Why should Suri be different? If the hair goes into her eyes, then her mother will know from her wails.

Who cares anyway, Julie said it right, it is a dead horse. If it is not the hair, it will be something else…..tired already.

  18. PuckHappy

Lauren, YOU obviously DO care or you would have not brought it up.
It is okay if hair in anyone’s face bothers you. That does not make you a bad person or even a disliker.
I know it bothers me to see any person on the television or in person, that keeps putting their hair behind their ears when it will not stay there.
For example, “Kate” from “Jon and Kate plus Eight”. ACK! She is constantly trying to put her too short bangs behind her ears!

If we were able to post pictures, we could have a contest on which barrette would look the cutest in Suris hair!
NAH! I know I’d win anyways! HAHAHA

  19. darin

I think Katie is having a joke on all of us- she
H A T E S the paparazzi and all the gossip about her and her family so she lets Suri’s hair fall in her face when she knows the paps will be clicking away just to aggravate all of us – no, my mistake her mother just doesn’t care. Suri really is a cute little girl, her parents however are morons.

  20. jenna

    very true midwestern girl…….very true!
